The sold out Glastonbury Festival has announced the sale date for accomodation extras - campervan tickets, Worthy View, and Tipis. Only available to people who've already got their festival ticket, these will be on sale at 10am on Saturday 27th October.
Campervan tickets will only be available to general admission ticket holders (not with-coach ticket holders), and will cost £120 for a standard pitch (8m x 7m) or £200 for a double pitch (16m x 7m). Campervan tickets are non-transferable and will be printed with the name and address of the booker. Attempts to re-sell them may result in their cancellation.
Sited in the Festival’s tipi village on the southern slopes of the Festival site, tipis can accommodate up to 6 adults, and cost £1075 to hire payable in full at time of booking, and do not include Festival tickets; everyone wishing to stay in a tipi must have a Festival ticket. Tipis come complete with groundsheet and rain-catcher; however they are intended to be an elemental experience, without the trappings of ‘luxury’ campsites. You will need to bring your own bedding, and expect to be using basic camping facilities.
Worthy View options include scout tents, bell tents, yurts, Podpads, Bellepads and Octopads, and are priced from £295 for a 2-person scout tent £1075 for an 8-person scout tent or 6-person octopad. Fo the full details please see the official information here.
