The first acts have been revealed this year's The Big Feastival, the three day family friendly event combining food and live music presented by Alex James at his Cotwold's farm at Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire over the weekend of Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August 2018.
Headlining from Friday to Sunday respectively will be Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Craig David presents TS5, and Paloma Faith, while also on the bill are Clean Bandit, James Arthur, Professor Green, The Sugarhill Gang and Melle Mel & Scorpio (Furious Five), Peter Hook and the Light, Melanie C, Becky Hill, David Rodigan, Artful Dodger, The Cuban Brothers presents La Familia (20th anniversary live band show), Jaguar Skills, Britpop Brass, Hackney Colliery Band, and Duke, with much more still to be announced.
For the foodies, there's a line-up of chefs that includes Marco Pierre White, Raymond Blanc, Mark Hix, Ashley Palmer-Watts, Andi Oliver, Matt Tebbutt, Sahlia Mahmood Ahmed, Glynn Purnell, Tommy Banks, along with cookery schools, artisan markets, and street foods.
The event is very family-friendly, with kids entertainment from Justin Fletcher, Paddington, The Gruffalo, Peppa Pig, and more, cooking workshops for adults and kids, a funfair, workshops and a silent disco, circus school, tree climbing, and more.
