Beach Boy Brian Wilson has been announced as the Sunday headliner for the 'pop stars & rock stars' themed family friendly Camp Bestival 2017, which returns for it's 10th edition from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th July, to the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle, set against the backdrop of England's dramatic Jurassic coastline in Dorset.

He'll be performing 'Pet Sounds' in it's entirety plus his greatest hits, in the Sunday slot prior to the already-announced Leftfield who'll close the main stage before the fireworks spectacular.

Rob da Bank says: “There’s been so much talk of musical icons recently and I’m very proud that we’ll be presenting one of the most legendary figures in song-writing, music production and, maybe, the ultimate anti-pop star, Brian Wilson. Having made so many incredible records with the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson’s Pet Sounds is a real solo foray into psychedelic rock, introspective lyric writing and a beautiful wall of sound concept album that still blows people away 50 years on. Whether you’re a stalwart Wilson supporter or maybe it’s the first time you’ve heard his name, I hope you’ll be there in the moment for the Sunday headliner in his full majesty”.

Also newly confirmed are Ray BLK,  Kate Nash, The Cuban Brothers, Becky Hill, Mexrrissey, Dub Pistols, DJ Yoda, Elvana: Elvis Fronted Nirvana, The Blockheads, Norman Jay, Los Pacaminos Feat Paul Young, Raghu Dixit, Circus Raj, Disney Rascal, The Smiths Ltd, Funky Little Choir, Indian Queens, The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, The Shellac Collective, and The Ska Vengers.

They join the previously announced acts of Mark Ronson (DJ set), Madness, and All Saints, Holly Johnson, Leftfield, Louisa Johnson, Bootleg Beatles, and Right Said Fred, with DJs and soundsystems including Skream, David Rodigan presents Ram Jam, Raindance, Big Fish Little Fish, and organiser Rob Da Bank, plus School of Rock - The Musical!, and for the kids there's Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble, and TV's Dick & Dom.
