With less than a fortnight until the start of Y-Not Festival the line-up has been unveiled for The Allotment Stage. The line-up is topped by Black Honey, Little Comets, and Broken Hands and includes The Vryll Society, Secret Company, Baby Strange, Little Barrie, Hidden Charms, The Shimmer Band, Asylums, Fronteers, Cupids, The Jackobins, Judas, The Assist, Trampolene, Hello Operator, April, The Spitfires, Paves, Cabbage, Holy Esque, Carnabells, Sahara, Liberty Ship, Tibet, Strange Bones, Bang Bang Romeo, Same Streets, White Room, Easy Life, No Hot Ashes, Bel Esprit, and late night sets from The Feeling DJs.

The festival, which takes place from Friday 29th until Sunday 31st July 2016 near Matlock in Derbyshire is headlined by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and Madness, plus Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Hives, The Cribs, Everything Everything, Circa Waves, Kelis, Band Of Skulls, Fun Lovin' Criminals, The Coral, Blossoms, Rat Boy, Pretty Vicious, Coasts, Neck Deep, Beans On Toast, Lucy Rose, Milky Chance, Peter Hook & The Light, Ferocious Dog, Moose Blood, Gnarwolves, The Sherlocks, Sundara Karma, The Magic Gang, Lancashire Hotpots, Eliza & The Bear, Sunset Sons, Lucy Spraggan, Fickle Friends, Eagulls, Heck, Dinosaur Pile Up, Lonely The Brave, Queen Kwong, White, Milk Teeth, Public Access TV, Dead!, Creeper, Traams, Nai Harvest, Reigning Days, Shame, Francobollo, Louis Berry, Cassels, New Desert Blues, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys, and The Decoy.

Early bird tickets have sold out. Tickets are currently on sale priced at £99.50. A ticket for children aged 12 years & Under is free. Early entry Thursday tickets are £15, and campervan passes are priced at £50.

The festival, now in its 11th year, has a capacity of 25,000 people, and aside from the music on three stages, there is a whole host of activities for Y-Notters to get involved in. The festival attempts to have an intimate nature, with many of the bands camping with festival goers, and friendly stewards. Late night entertainment includes a dance tent, or camp fire singalongs and there will be real ales and local ciders available.
