South Korean solo singer songwriter Choi Go-eun, has, according to a news article (here), been asked to appear at this summer's Glastonbury Festival.

The singer reveals, "I was invited to perform there next year and I gladly accepted."

Silver Hayes Dance village co-ordinator Malcolm Haynes met the singer at a party after attending the Ulsan World Music festival in South Korea back in October - on the weekend that Glastonbury Festival tickets sold out in one and half hours.

Haynes was so impressed with her 30-minute performance he made an offer for the singer to appear at this summer's sold out event which will run for five full days from  Wednesday 25th until Sunday 29th June 2014 across over a 1,000 acres of countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset.

Arcade Fire are the only act confirmed and will headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday, 27th June.

No other acts are confirmed as yet. As usual eFestivals will bring you the very best-sourced rumours, allowing festival-goers to see who is playing long before the bands are formally announced - keep your eyes on the Glastonbury 2014 rumours, updated as we receive information.

As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes.

All standard admission full weekend tickets for Glastonbury Festival have sold out, they were priced at £210 + £5 booking fee, and were secured with a £50 deposit in October last year.

For those who have tickets, balance payments (both International and UK), will be taken from 9am Tuesday 1st April until a minute to midnight on Monday 7th April 2014.

There will, for those who are registered, be a resale of any cancelled tickets for which the balance has not been paid, and tickets purchased in these resales after 8th April 2014 must be paid for in full at the point of booking.
