The Charlatans
Dance party maestros Basement Jaxx will close the first night. Primal Scream will unite the crowd with their classic anthems to end the festival on a high. They top a line-up that will include I Am Kloot, Mystery Jets, Lightning Seeds (Acoustic), Ash, Fake Blood, and British Sea Power with a special show for their 10th anniversary. The line-up will also feature Mr Scruff, Foreign Beggars, Roni Size, Willy Moon, Dutch Uncles, Jackmaster, Dub Pistols live and DJ set, Kodaline, Wave Machines, Oneman, and Tricka Technology (Krafty Kuts, A Skillz & Dynamite MC).

Other festival confirmations include Bondax, Loadstar, Theme Park, Public Service Broadcasting, Monsta , Slamboree, Artwork, The 1975, Drenge, Dynamite MC, Grooverider, Dismantle, Walter Ego, Sons And Lovers, Chunky, Tonn Piper, The Wind Up Birds, The Mispers, Flight of Arrows, Father Funk, Calling All Astronauts, and Genre Sluts.

100's more acts are still to be announced, as well as areas, attractions and other aspects of the festival including the fancy dress theme.

Now in its eighth year, Kendal Calling is held in the Lake District, over the weekend of Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July 2013, with early entry available on Thursday. Kendal Calling returns to the Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, and offers multiple stages and areas. The family friendly event offers 3 days of dancing, juggling, contortionists, comedy, site art and much more.
