Bristol-based Jim Moray has been confirmed as Sunday's headliner at the second annual Frome Folk Festival which will take place at The Cheese and Grain, Frome in Somerset over two days on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th February 2013.

Jim, who is the brother of songstress Jackie Oates, was at the event last year, and is widely regarded as one of the most inventive artists working in traditional folk music at the moment. Moray has released four ground-breaking albums and live he mixes electronic wizardry with the traditional with skills that have propelled him to the forefront of a new folk revival in the UK, inspiring a new generation of folk performers.

Acts previously announced for Frome include Luke Jackson, Phillip Henry & Hannah Martin, Solarference, Reg Meuross, Amy Wadge & Pete Riley, Sam Kelly, Phil King, The Longest Johns, The Willows, Dave Garner & Alan Doyle, Lucy Ward, Belinda O'Hooley & Heidi Tidow, Gerhard Creese, Gigspanner, Coppin Silver, The Young'Uns, and Monster Ceilidh Band.

In addition to the growing line-up there will be entertainment from Frome Story Circle and Frome Poets and a wide range of workshops, and a mass Morris meet with more than 100 Morris dancers from three counties are due to return to the picturesque Somerset market town of Frome for the second annual folk festival.

Irish songstress Cara Dillon, who lives in Frome, is Patron of the festival which is held at venues including The Cheese & Grain, The Westway Cinema, Masonic Hall, Round Tower, and local pubs.

For those wishing to camp, there will be provision locally for tents and camper vans with Indoor camping available at the town's United Reformed Church, just a stone's throw from the festival venues. There are also numerous campsites, hotels and B&Bs in the area
