Ed Sheeran collaborator Amy Wadge leads the latest acts confirmed for the second annual Frome Folk Festival which will take place at The Cheese and Grain, Frome in Somerset over two days on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th February 2013.

Ed Sheeran released an EP entitled 'Songs I Wrote With Amy' which is a collection of love songs, and Amy also co-wrote 'Goldrush' on his debut album, at the Somerset winter festival Amy will appear with regular partner Liverpool songwriter Pete Riley.

Also confirmed are Somerset-based singer songwriter Reg Meuross, Britain's Got Talent finalist Sam Kelly, Bristol-based singer songwriter Phil King, four man acapella band The Longest Johns, up and coming Cambridge five-piece The Willows, and popular duo Dave Garner & Alan Doyle.

Acts previously announced for Frome include Lucy Ward, Peter Knight’s Gigspanner, Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow, Johnny Coppin and Mike Silver, The Young'Uns, and Reg Meuros.

In addition to the growing line-up there will be entertainment from Frome Story Circle and Frome Poets and a wide range of workshops including a bodhran workshop hosted by German-born Gerhard Krees, a Pontypridd-based instrument maker.

Also appearing will be the backing dancers for Monty Python star Eric Idle at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony who are to spearhead a mass Morris meet at the 2013 Frome Folk Festival. The University of Bristol'’s Rag Morris were selected to appear with Idle before 80,000 people and a 26 million TV audience at the Olympic stadium ceremony - dancing to 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life'.

Spokesman Gavin Skinner explained, "“We auditioned and were one of just two Morris sides selected. Some 24 members of Rag Morris performed on stage with Eric Idle along with an opera singer, roller skating nuns, Roman soldiers, angels, Bhangra dancers, Blackheath Morris Men, Scottish pipers and a cross-dressing welsh rugby choir - an amazing experience!"

Irish songstress Cara Dillon, who lives in Frome, is Patron of the festival which is epxcted to run from 9am until 11pm both days at venues including The Cheese & Grain, The Westway Cinema, Masonic Hall, Round Tower, and local pubs.

More than 100 Morris dancers from three counties are due to return to the picturesque Somerset market town of Frome for the second annual folk festival.

For those wishing to camp, there will be provision locally for tents and camper vans with Indoor camping available at the town's United Reformed Church, just a stone's throw from the festival venues. There are also numerous campsites, hotels and B&Bs in the area
