with British Sea Power, The Low Anthem, Guillemots, and more added

The Temper Trap will headline the Saturday night at Truck festival which returns over the weekend of Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July to it's usual home of Hill Farm in Steventon.

They are joined on the bill by British Sea Power, The Low Anthem, Guillemots, King Charles, Brontide, Little Comets, and Three Trapped Tigers who headlin the Barn on Saturday.

Also announced today for the Alcopop Records and Big Scary Monsters takeover (4-9pm Saturday, The Barn) are Johnny Foreigner, Tall Ships, Talons, Gunning For Tamar, and My First Tooth, with Vadoinmessico, and Federation of The Disco Pimp completing the latest acts confirmed.

New Truck organiser Ralph Broadbent said, "I think this line-up captures the spirit of Truck over the last 15 years - everything that's great about music all in one place, with some of the most creative and independent acts out there, and at £69 for the weekend, it's really affordable!"

Truck is one of the UK's best and longest standing independent small festivals, a village fete meets Woodstock with a cutting edge musical policy, free of any sponsorship or corporate agenda. Held in family friendly, safe and secure surroundings overflowing with entertainment, it's about music, community and being outdoors.

The first acts confirmed were Mystery Jets who will headline the main stage on the opening night, plus 65daysofstatic, Villagers, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Dog Is Dead, Tellison, Theme Park, Boat To Row, Yellow Fever, Very Nice Harry, and Fine Union.

Truck are accepting band submissions until 1st April 2012. After this date, no further submissions will be considered. To apply, bands can send an email with links to 2-3 recordings on Soundcloud or Youtube to: [email protected].

Tickets are priced at £69 (including camping). There are no teen tickets or day tickets, just one standard price to keep things simple, and under 12's go free.
