The Whip, and Instra:Mental lead the first acts confirmed for Beached the annual bank holiday beach festival returning for a second year to the pop-up beach in Manchester's Castlefield Basin on Jubilee Saturday 2nd June.

The Whip (Other Stage)

The event runs across three stages from 12pm – 11pm and will have a beach party atmosphere with a beach bar, barbeque, summer cocktails and plenty of deckchairs on hand for a little rest and relaxation between acts. Partygoers are encouraged to enter the spirit of the day with limbo contests, sandcastle competitions and hula hooping the order of the day.

Event organiser Mark Lippmann, commented, "We were absolutely delighted with the success of last year’s Beached Festival and this year is a huge step up with a fantastic lineup. We have lots more still to announce so watch this space!"
