The second Beached Festival with a capacity of 5000, returns once again to the pop-up beach in Manchester's Castlefield Basin overlooking the Ship Canal on Jubilee bank holiday Saturday 2nd June 2012 from 12pm – 11pm.

Line-up

Main Stage: The Futureheads headline, plus The Whip, TBA, Kid British, TBA, Hey Sholay, The Quangos, Little Volcanoes, Rawcuss, and Competition Winner.

Fosters Hut Stage: Dirty North, The Naughtys, Frazer King, Seeing Hester, The Minx, Turrentine Jones, Competition Winner, John Ainsworth, Taylor & The Mason, Jim Adama.

Soundbase Dance Tent: Instra:mental, Zed Bias, Srcatcha DVA, Heavy Rain, Knee Deep DJs, Selective Hearing, and Total Garage.

Beach Hut Stage: The Paris Riots, The Minx, Turrentine Jones, and Seeing Hester.

Party Barge: Revolver, Dave Behave, Wonky Ninja, and Clax & Rob.

The one-day festival will have a beach party atmosphere with a beach bar, barbeque, summer cocktails and plenty of deckchairs on hand for a little rest and relaxation between acts. Partygoers are encouraged to enter the spirit of the day with limbo contests, sandcastle competitions and hula hooping the order of the day.
