The 3000 capacity Beached Festival, will feature 20 bands and 9 DJs across 3 stages set on a pop-up beach in Manchester's Castlefield Basin overlooking the Ship Canal on bank holiday Saturday, 28th May 2011 from 12pm 11pm.

The one-day festival will have a beach party atmosphere with a beach bar, barbeque, summer cocktails and plenty of deckchairs on hand for a little rest and relaxation between acts. Partygoers are encouraged to enter the spirit of the day with limbo contests, sandcastle competitions and hula hooping the order of the day.More information will be here when available.
