Farmer and Festival organiser Michael Eavis has confirmed that he has two of the headliners for next year's Glastonbury Festival booked already.

Before the dust had settled on this year's Festival, organiser Eavis told reporters that he had already got the three headline acts for next year in mind, saying the they were "three really good headliners".

Michael revealed in the Festival's souvenir review that, "The deals are done: two of the headliners will be returning and one is a woman who has been before but never headlined. I cant say any more because it gets me into trouble."

Eavis has now revealed that, as well as booking the two other headline acts (although he won't reveal who) for 2011, he has also asked U2, who were forced to pull out of headlining this year's festival after frontman Bono injured his back, to headline the festival on the Friday. He has also confirmed that he is yet to receive a response from the Irish band, however their announced rescheduled tour dates do include a gap for them to appear at the Somerset bash.

Eavis said after this year's appearance of the band's guitarist The Edge who made a guest appearance with headliners Muse that, "It was a great moment for us. He (The Edge) enjoyed a taster of playing - they're keen to do it. Whether it's next year ... or in three years' time."

eFestivals suspects that the two confirmed headlining acts might be Kylie, and Radiohead.
