Glastonbury Emerging Talent final line-up revealed

The fina acts competing in this year's Emerging Talent Competition, to win a slot at Glastonbury Festival have been revealed.

The annual search for unsigned bands and solo artists which offers the main prize of a chance to perform on one of the Festival's main music stages has announced the complete list of acts hoping to compete.

The final two bands that have made it through following People's Choice vote are Edinburgh-based folk-poppers Mayhew who won the vote, and second place act Faded Cadence who nab a place after one of the judges' 11 picks, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, are not able to make it to the live final.

They join the other acts competing to win a chance to play on the Pyramid or Other Stage who include Mayhew, Faded Cadence, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, Bunny Come, Ellen And The Escapades, Family Machine, Let's Buy Happiness, Montage Populaire, My Luminaries, The Phantom Light, The Secret Cinema Band, Tiger Shadow, and Tom Williams & The Boat.

The winner of the Emerging Talent Live Finals is expected to be announced at the end of the month.

Tickets have sold out for this year's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2010 across a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset.
Only headliners U2, and Jack Johnson, plus breaking talent My Luminaire, and John E Vistic are confirmed for the Festival. The ticket price includes includes a FREE programme, a 40th anniversary commemorative ticket, a useful cloth bag, and a small around the neck guide.
