Festival goers who paid the £50 deposit on a ticket for Glastonbury's 40th Anniversary Festival, had a deadline of 23.59 last night. The vast majority of people who'd paid a deposit have now paid for their ticket in full, but Festival organisers have decided to offer a 48 hour grace period for those yet to pay the balance or forfeit the £10 deposit and their ticket allocation.

For those wanting to pay the outstanding balance of £135 per ticket, who have already reserved tickets using the deposit scheme, click here.

To pay the balance, ticket purchasers will need the registration number and postcode for each ticket they are paying for, that's all registered adults (aged 16 years and over), and children aged 13-15 years old. To retrieve registration details, using a surname and postcode, click here.

Once the balance has been paid on at least one ticket, there is then an option to book parking, campervan or Tipi tickets. Car parking tickets can be bought at the same time and are priced at £15 per vehicle, and campervan tickets are priced at £75 per van.

Tickets have sold out for this year's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2010 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. eFestivals believes the next sale of tickets will be sometime from the beginning of March, we will of course keep you updated of any news in the meantime.

Only headliners U2, and Jack Johnson, plus breaking talent My Luminaire, and John E Vistic are confirmed for the Festival. The ticket price includes includes a FREE programme, a 40th anniversary commemorative ticket, a useful cloth bag, and a small around the neck guide.
