Corinne Bailey Rae confirms herself for Glastonbury Festival

Corinne Bailey Rae has revealed that she will be making a Pyramid Stage appearance at this summer's Glastonbury Festival.

Her appearance at the Pilton Festival is revealed in a press release, which states:

"Corinne has just been added to the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage line-up. She last played as headliner of the JazzWorld stage in 2007 and is delighted to be playing the main stage this year. Further UK shows will be announced soon."

eFestivals had her on the rumours page as playing over a week ago, and thinks she might well pop up on other stages too over the weekend.

On Monday Corinne Bailey Rae released her new album 'The Sea', and plays her first major concert of 2010 at the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire on Wednesday 24th February presenting her new album brought to life by her newly assembeld band.

Corinne Bailey Rae has not yet been officially confirmed. Acts confirmed include Friday headliners U2, as well as Jack Johnson, early Emerging Talent winners My Luminaries, and The John E Vistic Experience. Tickets have sold out for this year's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2010 across a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. There will be no more tickets on sale until sometime early in 2010.

Those people who purchased their tickets on the deposit scheme are reminded they only have until the end of this month to pay the balance.
