The headliners for this year's Reading, and Leeds festivals have been confirmed as Kings Of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, and Radiohead.

Kings Of Leon will be playing their only English festival shows (Reading Friday/Leeds Sunday), Arctic Monkeys are an exclusive UK performance (Reading Saturday/Leeds Friday), and Radiohead play Reading on Sunday and Leeds Saturday.

The full announcement (but not the full line-up - there's more to come over the coming weeks) is as follows:

The Main Stage at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Sunday has: Kaiser Chiefs, Placebo, Fall Out Boy, Deftones, and Funeral For A Friend.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Friday has: The Prodigy, Maximo Park, special guest Ian Brown, The Courteeners, Enter Shikari, and Eagles Of Death Metal.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Saturday has: Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, and Brand New.

On the Radio 1/NME Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Friday are: Gossip, and Glasvegas as co-headliners.

Other bands confirmed for the weekend on the Radio 1/NME Stage include: Jamie T, AFI, White Lies, Friendly Fires, The Maccabees, Gallows, The Gaslight Anthem, and Florence & The Machine.

The festival will feature a full line-up of over 150 acts over the weekend on six stages.

Tickets are priced at £175 for a weekend ticket, £70 a day ticket, and £10 for an early bird Thursday entry ticket. Campervan and Caravan permits cost £20 in advance and £30 on the gate. Car park passes are £5 in advance this year, or £10 on arrival. Over 18's wristband will be optional, but allow those that look young to not have to carry ID around all the time.

Reading and Leeds Festivals which take place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August. Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
