and British Sea Power to head for Brighton shore

The Great Escape have added two more acts for this year's Brighton based event.

British Sea Power
Brighton's own British Sea Power, return to The Great Escape shores once again in 2009 with their epic and anthemic creations that are full to the brim with seductive melodies. Also return to Brighton again this year are the effervescent live party act Cage The Elephant fronted by the lively Matt Schultz.

A number of acts are confirmed, including Metronomy, Kissy Sell Out, Future Of The Left, The Big Pink, Passion Pit, Micachu And The Shapes, It Hugs Back, Esser, VV Brown, Ben Kweller, Johnny Foreigner, Dananananaykroyd, Let's Wrestle, The Chapman Family, Your Twenties, Golden Silvers, and Bell X1. With many more acts to be announced this is just the first confirmed acts with hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at venues all over Brighton from Thursday 14th until Saturday 16th May.
