Big Chill announce Mr Scruff, and Martha Wainwright

The Big Chill held from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd August at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire has added more artists to the line-up.

The latest announcement includes Mr Scruff, Martha Wainwright, A.Skillz, Benga, The Blessing, Gong Gong, The Heritage Orchestra, Matthew Herbert Big Band, DJ Nickodemus & Nappy G, Pete Lawrence, Quiet Village, TM Juke & The Jack Baker Trio, Tom Middleton with a 'Summer of Love - Classics Set', The Unabombers, Ursula 1000, and Yam Yam.

Artists already confirmed for the festival include Leonard Cohen, Bomb The Bass, Fujiya & Miyagi, Roisin Murphy, Alabama 3 (acoustic), Bill Bailey, Jilted John, Plaid, Rachel Unthank & the Winterset, Trentemøller, Buzzcocks, Hot 8 Brass Band, Fat Freddy's Drop, The Mighty Boosh, Norman Jay, Portico Quartet, Thievery Corporation, Random Dance, Shaanti Sound System with DJ Krush, DJ Manga, DJ Joe Claussell, and Benji B, Roots Manuva & DJ MK, DJ Luke Vibert, DJ Vadim,Daedalus, DJ Joe Claussell (Body & Soul, NY), Ron Trent (Chicago), Ame (Germany, Sonar Kollectiv), Rap Saunders, and Kartel DJs. With more promised over the next few weeks. On-site facilities include a shop selling groceries & newspapers, bars, food stalls, merchandise stalls, cash point machine and a 24 hour cafe amongst other things. Alcohol cannot be brought into the main arena but is permitted in the camping areas (but NO GLASS!).

'Early bird' tickets are available, Individual Adult or Children's (now renamed 'Teen tickets') tickets are available, and live-in vehicle tickets, are also on sale, at the same prices as for 2007.
These prices are:-
Adult: £129.
Student: £110 (with Amnesty International membership, for full-time students only) Teen: £60.
Live-in vehicle: large £80, small £40.
Anyone attending in a live-in vehicle must have a campervan ticket. Awnings are allowed and a maximum of 2 tents with each vehicle. Cars are not allowed in this area.
