Hi All, A (very) few of you know that I'm the Theatre & Circus Fields house photographer at Glasto (it's "few" because I admittedly haven't posted here in ages, though I aways enjoy reading all the threads as the festival approaches!). Every year I create a body of edited photos from my full "take". They usually stay as a library in house, but this year I'm experimenting by putting up a public gallery (photos in chronological order) so I can share and (thoroughly) show off what T&C is all about: https://www.bothhemispheres.com/galleries/clients/glastonbury/2024/2024-06-22to07-02_glasto24theatrecircus-cgervais-sfw-public/ (beware: this is my whole library so there are a lot of photos. If you want to see a much smaller and curated gallery, then go to the main Glasto gallery page instead) I've been joyfully shooting T&C since 2010, and my photos get used in the galleries on the main Festival site (uploaded daily during the Festival), in numerous social media platforms (shoutout in particular to the T&C instagram feed), in the main Glastonbury Festival Program, and sometimes they even go wider afield (various magazines and media outlets who request them, and endless blogs who scrape them). I also shoot timelapses and cinemagraphs, but they don't get used as often as the photos do (fyi: there is a timelapse from 2024 on the T&C instagram at the moment). T&C is certainly my favourite place during the Festival (I'll admit to being biased). It is well worth a visit any time of day and well into the night (we have amazing stuff going on from before 10am until sometimes past 3am, and I strive to cover it all...it's rewardingly exhausting 🙂 I hope you enjoy, and are inspired to visit us this year! ps. Personal sharing of these photos is ok (you could even tag me if you post: @BothHemispheres ) but I shouldn't have to say this: no commercial use of the photos in this gallery, ok? ('cause my friends at Pixsy have got my back).
