When they say VERY SOON, they mean about 2 weeks.

Here ye', here ye', come see the amazing Deadmau5!!! (...at a festival near ours). Erm... Not the best bit of promo I've seen!
-
-
-
Did I read that right... Jim works for the same company who have already booked deadmau5 for Victoria gig, yet despite that accomplishment, could not nail him for Rockness? Get your priorities sorted Jimbo!!!
-
What's the lowest score?
-
Your words are marked... But unless it's a club'75 re-run (which was epic last year by the way) my bet is that there will be dvNO chance of them showing up.
-
Turns out it was an epic NO.
-
I'm disappointed. No ambition. They have rested on their laurels. Best small fest 2010 at nme. It's now 2011 and you'll win jack scheight without a big act. Sorry but I expected a lot more.
-
Disappointed
-
Im assuming you have never seen LCD Soundsystem live then?
They are 1 of the best live acts on the planet and would have been sensational at Rockness had they not been jacking it in soon. Certainly far better live than Deadmau5
-
F**k right off! Think I'll be visiting www.webuyanytickets.com . Thats the only way I'll shift it will those acts.
-
So, what started so positive with yes's has evaporated into no's. Shame. I agree with the shout that the line up is being announced so soon after T... Especially if it's not filled with a crowd pleaser. I also agree that it would only take one or two acts to blow T out the water and bring the excitement back.
Realistically, daft punk won't play. Justice won't play. Deadmau5 won't play. They are the 3 most talked about acts on the forum... If there is anyone else left out there who can create that buzz I'd love to know who.
... Whoever they are... I'm sure tomorrow they WILL be announced.
-
The TITP line up doesn't really interest me that much with the exceptions of Pulp, Weezer and Eels who I've all seen before.
I do think that Rockness needs to up it's game a bit, alot of people will be disappointed Deadmau5 isn't playing (well I assume he isn't playing). Personally i couldn't care about him, he's good but nothing amazing. If they've booked Justice then it would shit all over Deadmau5 IMO.
-
I think it may be a bit more main stream...
-
I think it would be an incredible effort, and I think I would be surprised but... YES!
-
On the eve of the big announcement (at last), delayed I'm sure for suitable reasons, can Jim King give Rockness fans THAT act to boast about? Seen some fairly negative posts since the Tinks in the Park line up yesterday... Can JK do it?
YES or NO?

LCD Soundsystem are playing their last ever run of gigs in New York early April. And "he" is actually two guys, Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay.
-
Given today's TiTP announcements I don't think the following will be too much off the mark:
A-Trak, CSS, Cut Copy, Death From Above 1979, Delphic, Fenech-Soler, Klaxons, Magnetic Man, Monarchy, Phoenix, Sleigh Bells, The Twelves, Temper Trap.
Outside bet: Feeder, Jamie XX, Razorlight, TV on the Radio.
CORRECTION: Cut copy Defo not playing... They are across the pond that weekend!
-
Agree... The Mau5 would still be nice tho! Hope they don't pawn us off with an LCD Soundsystem or underworld or something. The punters want JUSTICE. He fits the bill... Just give us something to stick in TiTPs pipe!
New acts?
in Rock Ness
