Mine here also. 47p... Joke! Must be £2 to pay someone each time they put tickets in an envelope. Sounds like a Gucci job to me although they multi bookings must be hell.

Just seen someone had a ticket for sale on eBay and he had an actual ticket I the picture for it so people must be starting to get them

As already mentioned, it's £13 or there abouts, plus postage... And for what? To stand in a queue to pick up tickets to then stand in another queue to get in?!
Year upon year, deliberately or not (synical) there have been ticket issues of some sort. This is a simple logistics which every seller/agency/company overcomes daily. Why is it so hard for Rockness to sort this out? Do Rockness profit financially when punters are made to collect tickets after paying postage costs and not receiving tickets? Festival times are hard after all! I take on board the tout rational but this doesn't really apply for Rockness as much as it does not sell out so not need for a punter to bypass official merchant. Just crazy.

Anyone got theirs yet? See an update a couple of weeks ago saying tickets were in process of being sent out. Nothing yet.
Got fleeced my £5 odd recorded delivery fee last year when tickets didn't arrive - then had to pick them up in person causing problems.
Rockness up to their old tricks again for a few quid? Sincerely hope not.

When you say '5 people for €29 one way' - is that like a group saver ticket or is that per person? similar to what you can get on the S/U-Bahn. if so that would be perfect for us.

Does anyone know if eufest.com is the best place to arrange bus travel to melt from berlin, as I kinda wanna get it sorted before I go?

on 18.07.2011 2 hours after the last concert (Junip), I have to be in Berlin Hauptbahnhof at 04a.m.
Someone has an idea how that could work? Earliest bus I found is leaving Melt at 4.a.m....

ah i thought the campsite opened at 1pm on the thursday???
once in the campsite can we not leave/come back to get food drink?

It may not the cheapest, as the eufest coach could do it direct for about €57... and the train would be cheaper by about €20 if you went by Alexanderplatz. You will also be about €4 each for the bus from Dessau to Ferropolis. Although you may have got a different price than me when you checked.
The other problem you have is getting your food/drink. Also, the campsite does not open till 1800 so it's a fair wait about. There is no shelter from sun/rain also.

What day do u arrive? Abd how many are travelling?
I will send u links for what u need. If u know Berlin at all u should be able to find Alexanderplatz. It's basically the main city centre. The station is right next to C&A, the huge TV tower and Park hotel. Easy to find. U can also get the train from the main Hbf but I find Alexanderplatz better as more sightseeing close by.
The tickets are usually cheaper if u pre-book but u can also get tickets at the station. There's an Aldi about 1.5miles away you can use but if u want to be sure u get what u want then get stuff in Berlin. It's a pain to carry but ur in a train/bus most if time so not that bad.
It depend what u want from the experience... Eufest pick up at airport I think so for ease this is best option as they will take u straight there. I have already spoken to the organiser and he said they will stop at supermarket on route if enough people want it. It works out cheaper for our group of 4 going by train though and as a couple haven't been to Berlin before it gives us a chance to sight see a little before the weekend carnage. Besides, it's more fun and adds to the while experience.

Hi this will be my first Melt!.
I have a few questions i hope someone can help with.
Looking at the eufest website it seems the first bus is at 1pm. we arrive at schoenfeld at 09.30am. Is the best option to get the train from berlin to Dessau and then a bus? Are the buses from dessau bookable or just first come first served?
On the way back there is a direct bus at 4pm which is good as we need to be at airport for around 7pm but it says the site is closed at 1pm.Are there any facilities between 1pm and 4pm?
More generally was wondering what the weather has been like in previous years. Have been to Exit and Sziget and Exit was unbearably hot we could hardly sleep the whole time we were there and we went mad.

I could be wrong but it doesn't look like any of the GA camping is being used this year as previous years. Instead they are using the land where the hot air balloon was a couple of years ago, up on the right of the arena. That right? Is that land not all steep slope. Good for rolly-pollys but not camping.
