James Brown supporting RHCP at Hyde park
They were both pretty dreadful

Didn't Josh sing Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (pretty damned well) at the Wembley leg of the Taylor Hawkins tribute?? I reckon he's a fan of Reg and was bang up for the fight as a result...

We're sadly selling our 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 kids tho happy to split them) and open to offers if anyone would like them? Drop me a msg if so. 😩

2004 was my very first Glastonbury. I peaked early. Macca Oasis and early Muse hasn't been beaten as a trio I don't think.
Neil young, Springsteen and the best Blur gig of all time would like a word imo

Catching up on the Manics set from yesterday, and did multiple double takes as the drummer lad appears to have morphed into middle aged Roger Taylor
Beard, gloves, paunch, the whole (drum) kit and caboodle

The Stones and even Blur in 09 had a soulful set of backing singers to give certain moments extra weight
This version of Sweet Child Of Mine rally would benefit from the same
Oh I should have waited to hear this rendition of November rain
Rip Axl's 'voice'

So, setlist.fm says we have a GnR cover of agadoo by black lace coming up and I don't know if I want that to be a hoax or not
I'm on a rewind of the park enjoying Leftfield play Phat Planet but will obvs switch over as and when this new reality emerges

Fair enough! Literally never noticed it before (first fest watching at home since 08 probably a large part of it...)

A minute into Welcome to the Jungle (just in from a bday and a bit behind) and there's 100% a videoprompter with the lyrics on?

One of my favourite bands but they would want to get their arse in gear.
I don't think they know what they want to be anymore. they sneer at their own older stuff.
Isn't that the point? They know what they want to be, and it isn't just banging out the old hits?
I kinda respect them for it, but it's not for me Bob

Struggling a bit to get into this Arctic Monkeys set, when i was there in 2013 i left half way through to watch Portishead, i'd suspect if i was there now i'd be heading over to watch Hot Chip
I mean, that 2013 decision was one of the best of your life, no?

Paired my Bluetooth speaker to the telly to get better sound for AM. Realised that Alex's affected accent is worse loud
Moved over to WizKid, but it's BBK empty
When your DJ says "Move closer to the stage, we're ready to party" it's not looking good 😞

First fest I'm missing since 2008, and no idea how I'll approach it til the day tbh. The other half is on nights all weekend, so the days will be spent entertaining the kids. Reckon an outdoor TV and a fire for the evenings might be in order tho

Saw Self Esteem last night at O2 Academy Sheffield. Much bigger show now with costume changes and more choreo.. loved the new song Mother, I think the other new one will grow on me.. her old music teacher was next to me on the barrier and RLT said “I can’t believe you’re here!”.. the crowd sang happy birthday to her Dad too who was at the side of the stage.. all in all a brilliant home gig. Lovely crowd too..
Great pics! I was MUCH further back, but a really lovely crowd and a great show. 3rd time in a year for me (after Glasto and Deer Shed) and it's grown each time. RLT is ace, up to her how far she goes I reckon

I managed to get a ticket in the coach sale but noone else in my group went for them...
Unfortunately, none of them then got tickets in the main sale.
I'm not up for doing the festival solo this year, not feeling robust enough. What are my options? If I pay the balance on the hope that they get resale tickets, and they fail, can I still cancel my coach package?

Have we already covered that Bon Iver are back in Europe in June?
Nothing after 19 June at the moment until August... GSH??

The reg and payment cycles took so long that by the time I had to authenticate the payment in my banking app, I rant out of time.
Live gigs - Who you've seen were they good, bad etc.
