    My prediction for phase 1!

    Headliners:

    A7X - Die Toten Hosen - Green Day  - QOTSA or/and BMTH, maybe co-headline

    Other bands:

The Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Machine Head, Alice Cooper, Hatebreed, Megadeth, Dropkick Murphys, The Offspring, Bruce Dickinson, Avril Lavigne, The Gaslight Anthem, Opeth, Nova Twins, The Hives, Fu Manchu, Beast In Black

Also in phase 2/3 I can see Limp Bizkit, Sabaton, Corey Taylor, NOFX…

    Very happy with that!

Do you know why band prefer to tour in UK and US than in Europe.

Blink 182, Green Day, Fall out Boy will tour during spring and summer in US. Foo fighters have already announce UK and US tour but nothing in Europe (apart Helfest).

Even a band like Royal Blood will don't play an arena tour for their new album and will do only a few festivals in Europe.

Maybe the market in US is more interesting than in UE.

Blink will still come over for Reading/Leeds and a few others in Europe.

Its still mentally earlier for announcements for European festivals as well, not even November. We know Green Day are coming over as well. I'd imagine Fall Out Boy will be over. We have the biggest festivals announcing next week as well.Have some patience!

What are the chances of Green day headlining now they have announced uk tour dates next year? Would also love Rancid to play the farm next year too.

    They announced dates?

  4. Lit It Up played in Amsterdam tonight. Still pulling songs out of the deepest cut book.

Any rumours where they'll play in the Summer? Couple of people at Ally Pally saying Spurs stadium has been booked. Seems too big for me.

  5. Just on the way to work, still on a high from last night. 58 songs over 2 nights is just insanity. Crowd seemed a bit more lively than Tuesday.

The live drawings from last night are going to be auctioned off for charity. Anyone know where? Would love to get my hands on the About Today one. Absolutely cried like a baby halfway through that.

Also About Today. And they didn't play Eucalyptus so you'll get that cracker this evening.

His voice started to crack towards the end last night in true Matt style, so Turtleneck tonight should be an absolute treat..

  7. Theres a few I can think of like Sorrow, Terrible Love, Graceless than are 'regulars' that wasnt played, but a whole new set would be going some.

There were loads on Twickets last few days for tonight but nothing now.

    Mixed feelings about the festival.

A nice crowd, some excellent bookings and good sound.

Undone by it taking too long to get there and the site was a bit dull. And needed an extra stage to add a bit more choice (especially for day 3 lineup which was a bit crap).

Too long to get to from where? Buses from Fuengirola were sharp, night buses worked a treat, couple of beers from the beach (via Aldi) to the site was all good.

Good info. Staying in Fuengirola myself. Do you know if those buses take cash or card or do we need to buy some travel card and top it up?

Theres a bus terminal in the town centre, just going there beforehand. My hotel wasnt sure if you pay the driver or see the folk in bus terminal

  10. Third year in a row and another top weekend was had. Didnt queue for anything which is always a welcome bonus. Hardly ate in the festival except the Lidl's hot dog which was tremendous. So many bars only serving cans was poor but once we found the draughts places, everything worked out well. Cant believe Spoons was closed for refurb, but went round the corner to the little Irish bar. £5.20 for a Guinness is very reasonable. Security checks getting back in were...lax to say the least!

We watched all 3 headliners on the Castle stage so cant comment on the bus queues late at night, was always first on!

Camping was fine. Seem to of got rid of a few toilets by the showers though, and seriously £3 for a tea is just mental.

Oh, and to the absolute ****s who stole our camping chairs on the first night, hope you had a rotten festival afterwards.

Not sure about next year. Expensive enough as it is, without the shuttle bus increase.

I'm staying there this year. Would also like to know some places locally for a late night drink. I feel once the bands finish it'll feel relatively early and I won't be able to wind down.

All on this. Been last 2 years and gone straight back to campsite. Could do with a late night dance
