Next year is a no, as Efests said Carlos has been working on his solo stuff and Peter's just starting the 'shambles 3rd album, and despite me being one of there biggest fans, (like anoraky so) they're not big enough for the Pyramid headline slot
when they return they will be headlining Reading first. That's their festival if you will. They always played there in the past and have played there since with their other projects a lot. Seems right that they headline main at Reading... I'll be at the front barrier to see it -
I was a little to young for the Libertines at the height of their career, however fell in love the first time i heard the whole of 'Up The Bracket', but Babyshambles 'Down in Albion' has to be one of the best albums for Doherty fans,

Ahhhhh I really want to catch him at one of these little London gigs he seems to spontaneously does, I wont be able to go to that one because of money. Whats the best way of finding out about these gigs as far in advance as possible? FrenchDogBlues never seems to have much going on, on the site. Yeah I live like a 20 minute train journey into London, I was dissapointed to see Babyshambles official tour has no London date.........
Thanks for the information though!

massive fan of Peter, and all his work. Glastonbury was an amazing performance,( and it's all on Youtube by someone called 'Imaginary Crime'.) also saw him at V, and was even better, the crowd were immense!
To be fair i don't think he was on anything at Glasto and especially not at V, but it doesn't really matter (Damon Albarn didn't look all there either!)
You should definately try to catch him again though, if your around the London area, babyshambles are playing tomorrow night for only £12.50!

your not alone my friend, more frequently on these cold dark nights i've found myself logging on to my computer, and Glastobating all night long...

For me would have to be Joe Strummer (to see the Clash live would be a dream!) Or Hendrix!
-
My festival is as follows...
Rolling Stones
Arctic Monkeys
Blur
The Smiths
The Libertines
Bloc Party
Kasabian
Stone Roses
Foo Fighters
Pendulum
The Cribs
King Blues
Temper Trap
Big Pink
Mumford & Sons
No way im winning this competition, however is a dream festival (almost) for me, so interesting to see how it does!

Probably at Blur this year, when the crowd kept singing Tender...it was magical!
-
my festivals all created! good idea this, although looking at other peoples line-ups they've gone for the top rated, at least mines personal choice
-
cheers for that 5co77ie!!
would have liked to see the stones
still now with pulp and rolling stones out the picture, the headliner rumours are blown open again...
Stone roses anyone
-
first time this year, and never did survive to watch the sunrise at the stone circle , also going to try and take in more of the festival, spent to much time watching bands this year!!
-

I just getting into underground heroes, there very catchy and their lyrics are pretty funny. I haven't seen them live but they live about 5 miles away from me.
If you like them then you should listen to LOOK SEE PROOF who I've just discovered, there quite similar.

Quite a fan of Underground Heroes, always put on an energetic live show! there on myspace i think if anyone wants to check them out,
Also really like Ou est Le Swimming Pool, they were at Glasto this year but they are really good!

Apart from bed, Glastonbury is the best place in the world.
You will have a fanatstic time both with and without your friends, fact!
-
Seen them a few times before but each occasions been 'average' not brilliant, but not awful either! However I really like the new album, so would definatly go and see them!
Would like to catch Marr with Modest Mouse (friends favourite band) in the morning, Cribs in the afternoon then can finish the day with the Smiths

have to agree, a lot of people told me they were awful live, however saw them on the other stage this year and they were brilliant! The cover of "Dancin' in the dark" was epic!
