but special mention has to go to basement jaxx and razorlight who really surprised me. Didnt think i was gunna like em but ended up dancing around like a crazy guy!
Hopefully will be gong back next year although the travelling back with a monster hangover was really really bad!
hopefully the weather might be abit better too!

watching flight of the conchords on BBC4 at the minute. The first series was brilliant but im a little dissappointed with the second series (even though ive only seen the first episode). Love the little folk songs they come up with! leggy blonde, awesome.
if you havent seen it you can probably pick up the first series on dvd for about 6p on play.com or summat(slightly exaggerated

Anyone who went to Rock Im Park no where to abouts to camp? Like where is the best craic and stuff. We will be arriving early afternoon on the thursday

Im driving from brussels on thurs morning and planning on D9 as that seems to be a "safe" option for thursday camping. Looks on the map like all I have to do is head in from the east and make a right as I enter the grounds. Is it that easy??
Also we have 3 tents, are we gunna get a space together or are we gunna have to split up?
Can't wait for it now, well excited!!

new poster here with a question for anyone who can answer it, a mate im coming with has bought a ticket but isnt 100% sure on if its real or not, any body got a picture of their ticket so we can compare it? or even any idea on how we can tell if its real or not? i personally haven't seen the ticket so it could just be him being paranoid. any help would be greatly appreciated.

4 of us are flying into brussels on thusday morning (10am land) then driving to rock am ring (about a 3hr drive). do u recon we can get camped somewhere around you guys or will we have to settle for a not so cool, portaloo infested camping area? wud be good to meet up with afew guys from efest for a beer.

I have got travel plans etc for rock am ring and that is my first choice but the backup festival this year is going to be download. just waiting for a friend to get back from scotland and confirm what he wants to do. he was supposed to be back yesterday but his van got totalled by a tractor on the way back!

cool, thanks for the info guys. im struggling to get an earlier flight so its looking like im gunna be arriving on friday morning. Hopefully there will be some ok spaces left, dont mind abit of a walk to the main stage anyway, itl give me a chance to have afew beers on the hoof!!

looking to get to rock am ring this year and got a few questions. If you can help me out that would be great....
1. looking to get a flight to Hahn on thurs 4th (arrives 22.40) can I still get a bus to Koblenz and then nurburgring at this time or am i gunna have to book a hotel in hahn for the night?
2. if i have to stay in a hotel overnight am I going to be alright getting a camping space on friday morning?
3. to evilhasnever, have you still got a spare ticket????

I didnt even decide to go to RaR this year until May and managed to get tickets for more or less face value on ebay so I wouldnt worry too much! Think the pre-sale are normally about January time so you should be able to get some cheap tickets then.
Im defo thinking of going back next year. This years fest was awesome and apparently its the 25th anniversary next year so it bound to be massive!
