Just had an email from field and trek telling me about special offers and I noticed these:

£1 down from £9.99 seems like a good deal for walking socks but knowing nothing about them (only what i've read on here) does anyone know if they would be any good?

I went to Hurricane Festival in Germany last year which used these wristbands, seemed like a good idea so I loaded some money onto it to save carrying loads with me, only to get there and find out they'd scrapped the idea at the last minute so everyone had to get refunds.

These photos show the difference between when the last 2 popes were unveiled. Not a gig I realise but it shows how obsessed people have become with documenting memories, rather than actually living their lives and creating them. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you have to.

What's everyones feelings on gazebos? Personally I think that as long as they're only taking up the space between tents that would normally be left for chairs etc anyway, they're fine.

Anyone got an idea when they'll announce who's playing where on which day? Thought it would be like Reading/Leeds with the whole days just alternating but judging by previous years they mix and match, i.e. this year Noel Gallagher and Blink-182 are playing Hurricane saturday, but Noel is playing Southside friday and Blink are playing Southside sunday. (according to their tour dates)

Literally bought my booze and a trolley yesterday so I'm pretty annoyed at the timing of this email. Like others have said ill be putting it in a rucksack and just taking it off the trolley to carry through the gates then reattaching once inside. Seems pretty stupid though.
