I agree, none of those interest me in the slightest and I won't be watching any of them, but luckily there are plenty of other things to do elsewhere

The Horrors look a bit low down

Saw McNulty from The Wire last year in The Park, didn't speak to him though.

I think we're all missing the biggest piece of info from this article:
"I have come up with a new design which we are calling the long drop mark three. We tried them out last year and they seemed to work well so we are increasing the number of them."
What is this about?

Hopefully there's someone decent on at The Park.

I'm gonna check out Washed Out now, never seen anything of them live before, not sure what to expect!

Bombay Bicycle have improved so much live, amazing

My friends came on Public Transport last year so wern't able to bring as much as they'd like, so they spent Thursday morning/afternoon on their Tesco trip and got back just as the rain started.
In short, no. There aren't enough hours at Glastonbury to waste even a few in a Tesco.

Certainly the most exciting out of the current rumours list

Just heard back from the Beeb - apparently they won't be publishing stage times in advance "but programmes will be available on the day to purchase".
Which seems pretty tight to me!
That is pretty annoying. Hopefully the bands will tweet what time they're on or something. Thanks for letting us know
-
Will they announce stage times/timetable for these gigs do we think? Hoping to catch Jagwar Ma, Bombay Bicycle Club, Wild Beasts and The National.
-
Just watched them all, really great. You walked right past my camp in the first one so that was nice to see!
-
I haven't listened to any of them but I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're all shite

I didn't think the stadium was able to hold gigs, remember hearing something along the lines of "people dancing in the stands will cause it to crumble" haha.

Where in Leicester is suitable to hold a gig for 50,000 people? Unless you mean over a couple of days.

BONNAROO & US TOUR NEWS
Dear friends,
It is with great joy that we can announce that Ted has been discharged from hospital and is on the road to a full recovery. The surgery went well, and the excellent medical team helping him are very pleased with his progress. He has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal, and now it has been medically proved that he does indeed have a brain.
Today, however, also marks the end of our Summer Stampede Tour. We were hoping to have made it out by Bonnaroo this weekend. But it is with sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of our scheduled performances at both Bonnaroo and Telluride Festivals, and our show at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, KS. If we could've we would've, you know that about us. We trust that you can respect our collective desire to encourage Ted to make a full recovery, and that this is based purely on the medical advice we have received.
On behalf of Ted, and all of us really, we would like to thank every one for their compassion and support at this time and we are very excited to get back out on tour as soon as we can.
Ted, Ben, Marcus and Win
What band/ performer who is not playing at Glastonbury are you gutted about?
