Ive seen Dreadzone a few times - first time was Megadog 1998.last time was the Glade last year..A blend of reggae/dub and rock and techno.
If you don't know they're stuff - First album is 360(hard to get hold of) - second album second light - then biological radio - sound and once upon a time in Jamaica. In the last few years they have become two halves of the same unit - a sound system and a band.
Ive seen the Dreadzone Soundsystem a couple of times with MC Spee - Must be the fastest MC ive ever heard - and so uplifting.Expect lots of humour thrown in.
One of the original band members Steve Rogers died in unfortunate circumstance in 2006 - which i understand was a massive blow to them.
Dreadzone really reach out to the crowd - and can make anyone who gets involved feel like they belong.Simply fantastic.Go and enjoy

This is the most baffling comment I've ever read. i've been puzzling over it for about 24 hours now and I'm still no closer to understanding it... -

ive gotten drunk with dan and mark a few times when they came up supporting various average sized bands, quite annoying last year they were supporting newton faulkner licking his arse and look the comparison in the two stage slots.....they are good enough lads and all and i think they are a good enough band....but in my opinion i dont think they are good enough for a stage that size yet./.. -

I slowly got into the scripts album over the last year - I thinks its well written and performed.
Ive heard all of the "pop" criticism, and i think its unfair. Some of their music reminds me of early Beatles. It has a reflective quality at times.
If Robbie Williams can do it - why not the script?
I invite any arguements to the contrary!

Fantastic work - There are five in my family kids included - we got by on you clashfinder last year - Mr Eavis should employ you to organise the bands!
Cheers bigears!

mmmm - we put up two tents under the pylons in the family field last year - i noticed a circle of tents with a very moody atmosphere each time i made for the path - they had a fire burning the whole weekend - no kids to be seen - just young lads.late on Sunday, when most people had started to disappear - there was a standoff there with loads of security guys.
any raggae at glasto this year?
