  1. I have just bought a couple of 10000 power banks @ £12.99 for my daughters, decent reviews - mind you all the reviews appear to be from people who were sent them specifically to review! Anyway at £12.99 each I'm happy.

These will be used to power Lumia 820's battery capacity 1620 mAh so I expect they will get around 5 charges from it, allowing for leakage etc.

  2. Hozelock shower and shower tent for us wife insisted on it and I'm pretty glad she did as I'm now looking forward to a refreshing shower each day. It doesn't bother me other folk use wet wipes or nothing at all each to their own etc... but a shower sounds like a treat to me.

  4. We went in one gate but ended up camping right over the other side (Cockmill Meadow full - Wickets) so decided to move the car around early Saturday morning via Shepton Mallet where we bought a few bags of ice and other things. It made the weekend much more pleasant along with some cheap spray bottles with fans attached. I remember most being tired out by the heat so by around 10/11 pm all I wanted to do was get back to the tent and sleep. Mind you one of my highlights was sitting in the sun watching Ray Davies sing Sunny afternoon... Ace!

  5. @kalfire cheers mate, great find, as a bit of a hat collector its deffo worth the near €50 its goina cost me

@LewesTom yeah I had thought about it being more unique with the writing alright and am deffo goina go for a card although not sure which yet, seems I have a bit of time before ordering and still will have it for glasto!!

We should have a Tarp Hat meet up!! lol :sarcastic:

  6. Another one here taking a shower tent and hozelock shower my wife insisted on it but now I'm quite looking forward to a morning cleanse sets you up for the day.

  7. Long story leaving it there. Short story it was a beast. Something like 170QT marine spec Iglo or coleman. And as it was Sunday night we thought wed take it to the pyramid stage as we was going to spend 3 or 4 acts there in a row. So it was a right trek carrying it from Woodies to the Pyramid full of ice and about 100 cans left. Anyway we got hammered and wanted to carrying on to the after hours areas. Ill left it with the lads and basically they were in no fit state to bring it back.

The ice lasted last time. But we had loads of ice blocks( very heavy) we froze meats in ice blocks and stopped at a supermarket about 1 hour outside glasto and topped up with baga of ice. I hoping for a smaller cooler this time maybe 100qt and to put less ice in

  8. If the ice lasted until last day last time why wouldn't you repeat that? Do you intend to use the space freed up by using dry ice for full English breakfast ingredients?

    .

  9. My concern with EE power bar is how many exchange cabins will be at Glastonbury? What if there are only 1 or 2 and you have a serious trek each day for a replacement.

Will they be sufficiently stocked up? If folk share them then EE could seriously underestimate the stock level leading to queues while returned power bars are being charged.

I think Anker or Easyacc battery packs are the best way to guarantee no hassle power for recharging.

  10. If your tent is already set up I can't imagine anyone asking you to leave. We stayed in Wickets and will be this year as well I go back and forth with or without children and never got challenged. We assumed the staff were there to go to if there was a problem.
