I'm pleased about the touts, but gutted I ain't going to get my cash back.
-
The Strokes/ Janes Addiction clash is bad news for me
-
Can you claim a refund if you bought a ticket back in December, but don't like the line-up?
-
STILL not sold out!
-
Only two acts I'd go out of my way to see, Jane's Addiction and Death From Above 1979. Plus they are playing in the tent.
Wouldn't mind seeing a few more on there, such as Interpol, Pulp and the Horrors.
-
Il tell you who
Mcfly
JLS
Kesha
Miles Kane
Alexandra Burke
Tio Cruz
The Wanted
Brad Paisley
-
Friday - I'd turn up at about 5:45 and watch The Deftones then go. Maybe stick around for The Horrors if I can be arsed.
Saturday - I'd turn up around the same time and watch Madness, hang about for Pulp and then nip over to an empty NME tent to see Jane's Addiction.
Sunday - I would watch Warpaint and then leave.
-
The only band I'd see on the Friday is the Horrors. Bit of a waste of a day.
-
-
Possibly all of those. See if they are touring, doing other festivals or have an album coming out in the summer.
-
Seemingly rules out:
Muse
The Strokes
Interpol
Elbow
Beady Eye
Noah & The Whale
White Lies
The Vaccines
Pulp
Seasick Steve
Two Door Cinema Club
The Pigeon Detectives
Bombay Bicycle Club
The Streets
2manydjs
The View
Friendly Fires
Amongst others.

Jane's Addiction! Oh yes!
Would also like to see:
White Lies
The Horrors
Pulp
Seasick Steve
Frank Turner
Interpol
and of course ...
DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979!!!
Some filthy clashes though.
-
where you reckon they would play though?
-
If they weren't on that line-up, which seems to be legit then there is definitely a chance.
-
JANE'S ADDICTION?!

In the early-80s, punk was floundering. Then up stepped Mick Jones and his motley crew of artists with one of the most innovative groups of the time.

Interesting article.
I'm a massive Clash fan, will have to give this lot a listen tonight ...
-
Still no official stage/day announcements ... odd.
-
Well yeah, basically. Still hoping for a few more rock/indie/alt acts. Like someone else said, the likes of Air, Seasick Steven and Feeder were yet to be announced by this stage last year.
-
depresses me when these rumours pop up.
The days of acts like the strokes, Pixies, QOTSA playing are long gone
-
Not negative, just realistic.
-
I forgot just how shite the V line-up is these days ...
-
Kele's playing V, so I doubt it.
-
Next 10 days. Don't expect too much, by the way.
-
I'd like a selection from.....
Vampire Weekend (Haven't played V yet - 3rd from top on 2nd stage or mind afternoon Main?)
Gomez/Ben Ottewell (Union Tent headliner or sub-head-liner?)
Jamie T (Second stage?)
The Vaccines (although almost guaranteed to be at Reading/Leeds)
Lupe Fiasco (High up in the Arena)
Miles Kane (Could be anywhere from second stage down - possibly Union?)
Friendly Fires (Low Main Stage or High Second?)
I think several of these are realistic, although I really would be surprised if The Vaccines didn't play Reading.
