    Contrary to popular belief I do not hate Radiohead, I find them annoying, like having Thrush!!

    Now as for your scenario of the tummy punching tosser, yes you would remember this individual, HOWEVER you would NOT spend the 6 weeks of your (lets calling it a drinking season) fearing a tosser who may or may NOT ruin ONE evening.

    ou would in fact raise above the expectation that there was a possibility that a puchie tosser may show up and ruin your night and after the first of your drinking season smash hit nights!! forget all about the tosser and not spend the weeks prior to (the aforementioned drinking season) whining on an internet forum about a punchie tosser, who may or may NOT ruin ONE of your nights!!

    Really babe get over it, your 17th and surely have far more important things to worry about than whether one annoying dodgy actor is going to ruin an ENTIRE season of a beloved programme or not :P

    LW as I have said of several occasions but usually to do with footy PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER mate it is only a bloody television programme!!

    Honestly anyone would think that having James Cordon in the show was going to in some way make a difference to the whole series, it's not it's one episode if it is really that bad turn off and watch Blink again!

    Now take a deep breath and relax :P

    homicide any good? know it's based on David Simon books aswell, set in baltimore etc...how's it compare to the wire? is it more episodic, a murder and closure each episode or more a continous thing?

    It's not fiction Ralph, he was with the Balitmore please for a year I think and the book is about his experience, there are lots of cases he talks about but it isn't a case of this is the story, here are the players and this is the outcome. So far it is really good, very interesting look at the police and the criminals but I am only three quarters of the way thru and it has been hard going at times, But I think in the end it will have been worth it :D

    That genuinely works. Still want to try the paramedic or the future one.

    New season starts tonight in America.

    I am really looking forward to this new season of HIMYM, but there seems to have been very little new coming out of the summer, The pilot season was dead, only a few new series seem to haveaired and most of them were the usual rubbish.

    Defying gravity looked good for a few episodes but it now seems to have settled into a soap opera in space :lol: I am back to watching The Wire and The West Wing!!

    It was good to meet up with you guys again, it was great meeting the lovely teenagers you all so bloody young and good looking grrr. Great to meet Al finally, thanks Lucy for being so organised mate your a bloody star xx

    Gutted I missed so many people by being so late, big hugs to Neil, Kizzie, TSU and Greenfairy who I didn't get to see.

    After sitting in really long traffic jam on the way, we finally got off the motorway, only to find that there was smoke coming from the engine :) We parked on a layby with another car and found that the oil cap had blown off and we had very little oil left. The lads at the layby were great trying to help, glastodfreak walked miles to get oil and oil cap only to find it was the wrong cap!!

    We made it to Street and the brilliant people at the Ford garage there, changed the oil and ordered a cap, took no money and when we went back on Monday to get cap and pay they only charged us for the cap :)

    My friend and I gave away what was left of our booze to people Sunday night and got lots of kisses and cuddles, better than cash any day :D

    I'll let him know. As far as I'm aware he's attempting it by himself but if he's struggling I'll suggest trying champix. I have mentioned it to him before but his mate who used it started smoking again so he doesn't rate it in his experience.

    Fingers crossed, his texts today have all seemed friendly enough, even the one telling me he's going to be an hour or so later than planned because he's got to drop someone off....(normally something that would piss him off even if he was still smoking ^_^ )

    Glastofreak and I started champix on 15th Feb, you don't stop smoking with them until day 8 - 14 but I have to say that I am smoking a lot less down from 20 a day to 50 over 11 days! I am going to stop tomorrow as will be 40 on friday and it is my present to myself :P

    Katster tell mr cheese we have two mates who both used champix one who has tried everything patchs, gum, acupunture and hypnosis and she went bak to smoking and another who hasn't smoked in a year so if he doesn't manage it on his own they seem to work. Will let you know soon I guess.

    Thanks guys, the first day was good. Induction but as there were 5 of us in the same department starting on the same day it was one big introduction session. Felt a lot like first day of school lol. The job seems really interesting and everyone ill be working with were really nice so looks like ive landed on my feet. I put the suit on last night and decided that I didnt feel right in it and would spend my whole time worrieing that I was in a a suit so just wore the trousers a shirt and tie but didnt feel under dressed.

    I got one an ID card with a lanyard for your kneck and having worked at so meny festivals over the years I have a lot of festival lanyards so im currently trying to work out if it would be acceptable and not really really sad to change my boring blue lanyard to a cool festival one.
