  1. Would love to see something along the lines of Carl Cox, Audio Bullies for during the day, bring back memories of the original Rockness. Think Fatboy slim might appea since he hasn't the last 2 festivals

  2. Calvin Harris has exploded over the last few years, much bigger draw than example imo. Hope Calvin changes his set a wee bit if he plays, seen him in the uk and abroad 4 times in the last 2 years and its not changed much

  3. Every one can hold an opinion, there's not enough proper bands these days. Music industry has been flooded with shite pop acts and x factor guff. If you prefer a bit of justin bieber that's your choice

  4. Just thinking along the lines of what's big just now, house music has really taken off over the last few years. Guetta has headlined dance festivals, although I'm not his biggest fan as I see him as more of a pop act

  5. They could easily headline, they always draw a big crowd at titp and have headlined multiple big festivals. Just not sure if they would interest a lot of the Rockness crowd. I would like to see it personally, and they did say on radio b4 xmas that they were playing a scottish festival, just waiting on the day and slot to be decided

  6. Think the last time Prodigy played was 2009 so I would also be chuffed with that & a nice strong Electro act for Saturday night headliner. Wonder if one of the SHM trio might make an appearance at some stage?

  7. I still think that £139 represents very good value for money as far as this festival is concerned. Rockness have been very very kind to us with the £100 earlybirds in the past, I'm actually surprised it's taken so long to increase the price. When you consider that all of the overheads will have increased substantually over the last few years it has to be done. Personally I enjoy Rockness more than TITP, so when you compare ticket prices I still consider it a bargain.

What I would welcome though is the 3 payment scheme returning

  8. I know it has already been commented that the festival will go ahead next year, but is this a maybe or 100%? Just seems a bit strange with Christmas coming up that there's still no sign of tickets going on sale, surely this would add to the ticket sales.

Could the fiasco with this years Creamfields and the financial loss to Loudsound have effected their ability to run all of their festivals next year?

I hope I'm just being paranoid and the festival goes ahead as normal, just the serious lack of info in concerning.

  9. This is from the BBC weather site

"The high pressure is making itself comfortable through the second week of June. This will bring drier than average weather for all but the far north, where it will also tend to be cloudier and cooler at times. Warm and sunny weather is looking likely elsewhere"

Not the worst forecast, but as previous posts state we'll just need to wait till Wed/Thur for a more accurate forecast. Anyway, I'll be too having too good a time to care if it rains :)

  10. What's with all the panic? Even the weather forecast a week before the festival is usually wide of the mark so I wouldn't read in to it to much just now ppl
