So The Prodigy were fucking great. As good as I've ever seen them. New stuff is superb live. Much older crowd than 09. Was expecting it to be full of pilled up kids.

Good stuff. Surprised myself they are still pulling the old folk to the shows, but thats really only based on my recent attitude change to em I suppose. Maybe the Monday gig is less attractive to those relying on their weekend pocket money.

Anything of note/interest dropped by Mr Howlett?

and yet there's still nothing to be seen that's better than Rodgers was managing.

Dont know about that. Have my doubts if Rodgers' Liverpool gts all 3 points yesterday and I dont think a Rodgers side plays as impressively as Klopps did in the games against Chelski and especially City. But thats all very speculative from me too so.................

He played Diesel Power and No Good the other night but I'm really interested to see how the new stuff gets over live.

Id reckon it will go down just as well as when the stuff off Invaders Must Die was being played for the first time. With the exception Wild Frontier probably if he plays that...............I cant believe anyone actually likes that! ;) But Id say The Day is My Enemy will be a cracker

Got freebies so wasn't particularly arsed myself. But 20 years almost to the day since I saw them first in the same venue. Well, The Point.

Am more interested in seeing the type of crowd nearly!

Last time they played down there myself and a mate threw ourselves into it and got down with the kool kidz up front. A lot of sweating, squashing, loosing of shoes etc etc going on (exactly as it was back in in the mid 90s with respect to that sort of shenanigans). Had fun, but in reality probably should not have been up there. The Prodigy do belong to a different generation now. I finally realised it when the likes of Poison and Out of Space where no longer guaranteed on their setlists.

He has been dropping Everybody in the place on this tour so if lucky i'm sure that will bring a smile to some of the older faces there

And Liverpool could replace Sturridge and get all the same problems from the replacement, as well.

Of course they could, but its all got to do with probability and risk assessment (and potentially personality analysis if the club really wants to get into it). The probability of a new player being a sick note is far less than DS continuing to be a sick note so less risky, so if you persist with DS you need to decouple that risk somehow.

  6. His goal per game ratio is good (really good) at 0.6 goals per game. I think only the likes of Aguero in the PL can prob beat that. But the fact that he misses so many games his goal rate for LFC with respect to the amount of games he could have played is 0.3 goals per game...............Thats not worth €150K a week if thats what he is on

thing is any replacement is going to cost similar in wages and might go sick just as often ... plus they'll be the expense of buying in the first place too.

Chances of that are very slim. It would be unusually unlucky to get another player who is injured 50% of the time

Keep him if he costs less or his injury risk is factored into his next contract, yes. No brainer.

Get him to sign a new contract on the same or better terms as his current? Madness.

  8. He has missed half the games while at LFC. Unless he takes a large pay decrease or signs some form of pay per play deal I dont see LFC renewing. Way too risky. He will of course then go on to sign for someone else, stay injury free and then bang em in..........but I cant see LFC resigning unless his contract is restructured for the injury risk he poses

  9. Thanksgiving...............

Time to go home and park my ass in front of the box to watch at least 6 hours of NFL accompanied with some beer and grub..........Americans do somethings pretty good!

Most United fans don't want ronaldo back though due to his age, transfer fee and wages.

How many did you talk to to reach that conclusion? 4? Or has there actually been a statistical study done on this? A lot of Utd supporters have been pretty vocal in recent times about their desire to get him back

  11. No good picking up 3 points at the likes of the Etihad and Stamford Bridge if you are going to be inconsistent and drop points at home to Southampton and Crystal Palace. Klopp does seem to be instilling a belief amongst the players from what you hear from them but who the hell is going to say any negative just yet. If they can take that belief and turn it into consistent performances that emulate what they did against City then they can do some damage in the league this year.

The positives for me to be taken are, as many have said on social media, the fact that Klopp can already say they did something LFC with Rodgers didnt (re away wins against the "big four") and they did it in spite of the injuries.
