Its definitely difficult & I probably wouldn't do it again unless I was desperate. Glastonbury should be a time to forget about your actual job.

Did most people have shifts like that? I'm not too bothered about the headliners but love to do a late night out on the Friday or Saturday night so these shifts seem bad tbh

Both my boyfriend and I got a spot on bars!! So excited. Have volunteered with FMS before as a Paramedic so serving pints whilst hungover seems a lot less stressful then saving lives 😂 Hoping we get to choose shift partners.

Is it likely you'll work only Friday, Saturday & Sunday night shifts? In that case doesn't seem much point doing it.

Is anyone trying for Avalon crew bars aswell? Says they do 3 x 8 hour shifts but not sure if that'll be crap shifts

Im a Paramedic who has volunteered for them before. The perks are you only have to do 2 x 8 hour shifts and have unlimited showers. I would personally much rather work 3 x 8 hours shifts doing Oxfam or shelter. You just can't completely enjoy yourself knowing youve got a shift coming up where you might need to resuscitate someone.
