  1. Headliners: Dua Lipa, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots x Kasabian Special guest: J Hus Subs: Wolf Alice, Bad Omens, IDLES Chevron: Jungle, Four Tet, Wilkinson R1: Inhaler, Wallows, Knucks FR: Soft Play, Ice Nine Kills, The Amazons
  2. As the Chevron is an open air stage sure it will be where MSW was. Then R1 stage will be where the dance stage was.
  3. Unlikely. Reading are restricted with late night sound due to licensing. Only way I could see it happening would be as a silent disco set but don't think that will happen
  4. With the next announcement surely coming soon here's my prediction. Also playing: AntsLive, Bad Nerves, Blondshell, Corella, Dead Poet Society, Dead pony, Deijuvh, Dream State, Flowerovlove, Glasvegas, Hak Baker, Hannah Laing, Heavy delta, Hybrid Minds, Issey Cross, Jazzy, Kneecap, Lauren Hibberd, Lauren Spencer-Smith, Loathe, Nemzzz, Newdad, Overmono, Pip Blom, Say She She, Songer, Sonny Fodera, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, The Mysterines, The Plot in You, Wilkinson.
  5. From someone who actually went to see them. The crowd were definitely not dead at the O2. PXL_20240120_223014146~2.mp4 228660376_PXL_20240120_2151111493.mp4
  6. I don't think BMTH would be a weak MSE headliner. I know monthly listeners arent the best metric to use but they are sitting on 13.5 mill monthly listeners - that is more than other British rock headliners like Sam Fender (3.7 mill), The 1975 (13.1 mill) and even Muse/Blur/Strokes. Currently on a massive UK arena tour which is comparable to other MSE sized bands like the 1975. Plus if you think of the small pool of big British bands, BMTH are one of the few that are still on an upwards trajectory and relevant with a younger audience. Not to mention they are one of the best live bands. I agree Royal Blood would be a weak headliner but if the likes of Gerry Cinnamon and Van McCann can headline then I am fully expecting the likes of Courteeners, Wolf Alice, Biffy or Kasabian to be a cheap filler headliner. It seems they usually get 4 big names and 2 small names so maybe I'd swap out Lil Nas X for someone like Central Cee or Chase and status. BMTH x Chase and Status/Central Cee Paramore x Noah Kahan Dua Lipa x Royal Blood
  7. MSE: Dua Lipa, Bring Me The Horizon, Paramore MSW: Noah Kahan, Royal Blood, Lil Nas X
  8. I used WhatTheFont and put in an image of the font they used and gave me a few decent matches. The one I used was House Sans Condensed Heavy
  9. My prediction at what extra names we could get
  10. Halsey < Lana Del Rey Arctic Monkeys > Liam Gallagher Rage Against The Machine > Blink-182 (The 1975 < Blink-182) Dave > Fred Again.. BMTH > Catfish and the bottlemen Megan Thee Stallion < Gerry Cinnamon
  11. Surely not LG. Massive tour + Headlining TRNSMT. I'm sticking to Fred, Em and Blink as the headliners
  12. Anyone got any inside info on the stage changes that Melvin mentioned in that NME interview?
  13. I've also seen people suggest the photo of the 'blue blue sky' could be George Ezra
  14. Mainly so they can get away with having 6 headliners and just 1 main stage (2). If it was just 1 main stage some acts wouldn't want to co headline Usually the side by side stage is used so acts can play straight after the other but I don't think they would be able to fund that throughout the whole day whilst maintaining quality acts. I think they should have gaps between acts like it used to be.
  15. Here is what I think they should do but they won't. 6 Headliners With No Clashes Return of The Radio 1 Stage - probably rebranded with a different name Return of The Pit Go back to the exact 2019 format with the only difference being the main stage is two stages side by side (Main Stage Right and Main Stage Left). The main stage will still have 8-10 acts each day like 2019 but they will alternate between left and right. Sub headliners will be billed as "headliners" because they are technically headlining Main Stage Right. An act like Travis Scott would not want to co-headline with Royal Blood, which is why they are the actual Main Stage Headliner (but technically Main Stage Left Headliner). The budget will be exactly the same as 2019, the only additional cost would be making the main stage twice as big. I'd suggest scrapping the alternative tent to fund a bigger main stage. It could look something like this. Ignore the smaller names I haven't replaced them from 2019.
