IICON is visually one of the best stages at Glastonbury, but the programming is all wrong for the space.
Needs much bigger names. They had some massive names this year. They just try and avoid dance music-by-numbers stuff.

Hopefully next time he'll mime less. I know this is very difficult with dance music, but much of what he was doing - especially when he was playing the keys - didn't seem to coincide with the notes IMO.
That said, watching from home, it was a really enjoyable gig - and it was clearly loved by the crowd. Nice to see him totally taken in by it all, too.

20 a week? How is that even possible. Haha. I had Google famous drum and bass artists but couldn't make any connections 😄
Some DJs used to play 4 or 5 sets a night on the weekend. Madness!

Anyone seen a Leftfield live show recently? Seen them a few times over the years but wondering what they are like now in terms of guest vocalists, live musicians; visuals etc or if it is more of a knob twiddling scenario ?
I spoke to Cheshire in the week. He'll be there. I'm sure Earl will be too.

How difficult is it getting into SEC at night? First time going this year and reading stuff about how long the queues can take!
It took me 5 minutes max every evening

I got painfully sunburnt last year.
Don't be an idiot like me.

You'll have to tell me what part you find offensive and why?
The massively transphobic comments.

Brain injury or not - that is completely unacceptable Neil.

To be fair I would like this.
Custard Creams are the discerning choice as far as I understand it.

They're probably not.
But in the absence of actual information, people jump to (in this case almost certainly incorrect) conclusions.
They're definitely not.

I'm doing J2 on the Friday, anyone been before? looking at pictures from previous years looks like it is under a motorway overpass
Many times, it's great - usually have about five stages, four of which are not under the M4

Off to Junction 2 on the Saturday, that lineup is massive for me. Anyone know what’s going on at the beams? They just posted a teaser for March 2023
I wasn't overly taken by the Saturday. But I'm an old dance music boomer, so what do I know?!

I think this is what I did last time actually. Via Swindon onto the M4
That's what I do - I usually pop in to see my parents who live near Burford on the way down. Breaks the journey up!

Thanks all, it would be M4 for me probably. I could well be starting from Bicester though if I pick up a friend.
looking forward to that long walk lol trolly it is for me now. Too old to carry everything now lol
From Bicester you could either go a34 down to m4 and drive through Bristol to get to the right side. Another option is to take the a40 at Oxford and head down the a361 from Burford to Swindon and then along the M4.
