    Missed out on a ticket this year, was absolutely devastated at the time and been dreading this day for months.
     

    Glasto know they can throw their weight around to justify the £360. They could have Basel Brush headline and people would still go. Whether that’s right or wrong I don’t know but it’s just the way it is. 
     

    First time lurkers/ people going for the first time, do not let it bother you if you hate the line up. It’s still an unbelievable experience.. the weather is 10 x more important imo. They’ll always be something to do. Have a toffee apple cider on my behalf and get stuck in! Enjoy all!!

  2. Who’s Going to Glastonbury 2024?

    Nope. Only 6/30 managed. Been every festival since 2014.

    Was walking back from Shangri La at about 5/6am last year, sun was coming up, people were still out, was so beautiful. Me and my pal both said to each other we are at peace with taking a year out next year as this cannot be exclusive to us and other people need to experience it and I stand by that.  No disappointment, just happy for those who are going, especially first timers!

    First year not going since 2013. Congrats to those who got tickets. Was at peace with sitting next year out and glad that my friends group, who have all never attended, managed to get in. Hope they and everyone else has a wicked time

  13. Crying Loads at Glasto this year

    Generation Sex, behind my sunglasses I really teared up. The Pistols and the Punk era is my dads fave and it reminded me of all his stories from the Finsbury Park rainbow and listening to John Peel late at night in the 70’s. It’s funny cos that morning I literally woke up not knowing who they were and then put 2 and 2 together, I immediately messaged him and we was really laughing about what they was gonna be like nowadays. Thought Billy was absolutely fantastic mind you.

    Also Foos - my Hero, first act I saw and was so overwhelming watching it. Take me back!

  14. 2024 Headliners

    Dua / Foos / ?

    Unless Taylor is available (which I doubt she is this year) I can’t see it being 2 female headliners despite what Emily has hinted at, think it’ll be something a long the lines of what Lizzo was this year.

    Don’t think Madge will do it, some of the other names floating about don’t really strike me as Pyramid headliners (Pink etc).
     

    1975 could do it, but I think a lot on here seem to have them nailed on as they did with Foals a few years ago before their ship sailed, whether or not it materialises into anything is dependant on whether Emily sees them as a Pyramid headliner which can be hit or miss. It seems logical but could very easily not happen imo.

    We really could be looking at Coldplay next year as the third headliner. They get a lot of sh*t but It’s a safe booking.

    UKMO is the sh*t btw. I reckon if there long term outlook is still good/ encouraging tmo we are golden (regardless of their daily forecasts, which as we know can flip between shower or no shower in seconds!)

    Let’s hope not to concede in extra time post Sun and take this to pennos. Especially if we’ve got WC Harry Kane taking ours
