Calling bullshit on that good sir.

The Strokes would walk in to any festival worldwide and headline, certainly in the UK.

They are considered one of the ‘legendary/vintage’ acts and command that spot regardless.

As has been mentioned previously, if The Cure can headline Reading/Leeds recently who peaked in the 80s then The Strokes can still get booked and headline and will be a success.

Yeah fairs, think they’d have more chance if they brought a new album out though

Tbh I don't even like them but they're undeniably huge. They headlined TRNSMT last year and have done two pretty big arena tours since. There was once talk of them co-headlining, but I think "very strong sub with massive crowd" is where they sit right now.

Don’t think they’ll play for a year or two. Too big for R1 or maybe even sub but not quite a HL

the strokes would be a shout, some guy said that AHJ said in an interview they wouldn't come to the UK in 2020 but no ones linked it so idk

Due to demographically shifts I don’t think they’d book them, any 18 year old was 9 when the last strokes album came out. I’d like to see it but I don’t think FR would do it

That's what I was thinking, maybe they release the headliners then tell everyone how to win the tickets and which band they would/want to get backstage for. Would make more sense to why they put "meet&greet with one of our acts".

Yeah, I can’t imagine Dave, 46, Joiner from Middlesbrough being too thrilled about meeting Travis Scott
