Reading back on the NME article Melvin actually said 2 returning headliners in the 3.5 headliners, so could well be our six with the returners being The Killers and Foals

On the back of what Mr Dilcox predicted, could Noel Gallagher count as 0.5 of the headliners? Having headlined as Oasis previously?

Good point, absolutely loads of Wales football shirts and flags too.

Either way, it’s definitely was less than 90% from England which is the post I was replying to.

In any case, how different is the demographic between English, Scottish and Welsh when it comes to being fans of The Killers and Green Day?

Can someone do the stats on this? It's been a big debate in our household! 😁

NGHFB is in no way MSW headline material. Maybe 3rd 4th on teh day at most but not an R&L act in my eyes

I get that, and based on how good the HFB actually are I don’t really think he is either, but the guy was the mind behind one of the (if not the) biggest bands ever, his name alone would shift tickets. Same as LG

  4. Friday - The Weeknd (and Swedish House Mafia?) / Doja Cat

Saturday - The Killers / Sam Fender

    Sunday - Eminem / Noel Gallagher’s HFB

Theres a few acts that next to not a lot will predict (probably out of personal preference) that could come out of nowhere to headline though. I think one of Minaj/Cardi B could shock with a MSE slot, as well as people who get a lot of streams/radio exposure (Capaldi, Ezra, Rodrigo, Jax Jones, Lizzo, Dua Lipa).

And I personally think that’s a good direction for Leeds, a lot of people who go to Leeds would love that (seen a lot of people say Rodrigo isn’t that big but she had a monumental crowd at glasto for the second stage up against Noel G)

Think Kasabian will be there too, just not in a headliner slot. All depends on how well their new album does (especially with Tom leaving)

that being said, it’s my first Leeds fest this year, so wtf do I know

I remember watching the OOOOLLLLLDDDDD KSI when you could park a bus between his teeth, like 10 years ago or something. Imagine thinking all them years ago he'd be breaking boxing records, youtube records and performing music. Not a fan of him at all but credit to what he's done, now doubt fame and money has helped. I cant imagine anybody over 18 going to see him at Parklife.

Yeah I’m 22 so I grew up watching his videos, grew out of it a bit now but a few of his newer tunes pop if you’re into that stuff imo

Yeah I do NOT want 2 hours of Blink.

On the flip side of that though is if BMTH were to play before Blink then I’d be able to leave early and avoid the queues so, silver lining and all that.

Saw them in 2017 in Newcastle, boring as fcuk mate

Not even expecting it but I'll still be devastated if it's not Rage now

    Rage - BMTH - Idles - Limp Bizkit 😍

Wrong forum, I believe you’re looking for the Download Festival forum, although their lineup is announce and SOAD are headlining
