I like Cosmo Sheldrake's music, but I've absolutely no idea what's going to happen when he does a "presentation" with his brother Merlin, who's written a book about fungi and with whom he produces a hot sauce.

Highlights include Jon Hopkins - RITUAL - Exclusive Album Playback Listening Experience and a dive into the microscopic lives of fungi with natural scientist, Merlin Sheldrake. Main performances will take place in darkness after the Main Stage headliners finish.

Yeah this one has got me, too.

Don’t get many chances to see Cyndi Lauper, but TLDP could be the set of the weekend.

I was front row for them last year at Woodsies and I feel they might be a bit easier to watch again if needed…..BUT I have had there album on repeat and will get significant fomo 😬

Just a question and obviously we all like different things but why do people like silent discos? I’ve done them before at festivals with more noise restrictions and less amplified music late at night but would you choose silent disco over actual sound systems?

I’ve actually never done one, but the Mrs used to love them when she did them at Kendal calling.

If it’s more music  like what they used to have on live at Williams Green after hours then I’d be up for it.

I so hope D:REAM is Prof Brian Cox's DREAM

It is but he hasn’t been part of the group for a while. Did some keyboards in 2012 on there album but that’s it.

  5. I know them! I know them! I actually know more than ever the names on the Glade Stage. This for me makes it the best of the 3 years I’ve been 😂

Coldplay, Avril Lavigne and Cyndi Lauper being your unmissables would suggest to me that even allowing for the spirit of community, unity and togetherness at the festival we shouldn't be friends and should never attempt to even hold a conversation.

     😂 Sleaford mods fan? 😂

I shall be asking questions in Parliament about who decided to have Skindred, Idles and Fontaines DC all headlining on a Friday night.

    Friday night for skindred?

If you saw them you’d recognise them! I spoke to a few of the band but missed the several performances they did. I don’t know about the Rocket Lounge.

They did. They have a residency at deva fest “sailors rest”. About 5 shows a day. They are great.

The Mrs spoke to them and told them

we saw them at Glasto (after seeeing them the year before at deva fest too). Told her to get a selfie- she obliged!

if you haven’t seen them you should! Think sea shanty’s (duh) and lots of Irish songs.

Can't lie I'm quite excited to see The Feeling! Cant be arsed to see a full show of theirs but a festival set peppered with twelve stops and home wont get any complaints from me.

They were great at Deva fest

Depends on clashes and I know some of these aren't possible but...

Must see: Idles, Little Simz, LCD Soundsystem, Squid, Noname, This is The Kit, Baxter Dury, Yard Act, Confidence Man, Fat White Family

Like to see: Fontaines DC, Danny Brown, Michael Kiwanuka, Avril Lavigne, Sugababes, PJ Harvey, Hi Vis, The National, Sleaford Mods, Jamie XX

Maybe: Most of the others to some extent!

No: Lana Del Rey, Seventeen, the bottom line of the pyramid poster, The Mary Wallopers, Peggy Gou

You hating on Lana Del Rey even though she’s not there 😂

So far I have only one must see and that is Jessie Ware. Clashes at Glatonbury and rubblish timing of her gigs in Manchester mean for one reason or another I have never seen her live. I love her last 2 albums and Saturday night is made for disco dancing.

I have a large chunk of would loves but trying not to get too excited about them because whenever I do they all end up clashing.

High up my would loves of people I have never seen before is

    Romy

    Cyndi Lauper

    Lankum

    The Mary Wallopers

    Newdad

    Corrine Bailey Rae

    Avril Lavigne

Missed out on the Mary Wallopers last years as decided to stay where we were and watch a  Korean band in west holts drinking brothers. We were due to watch them a week later in Manchester supporting Saw Doctors- however then got covid at Glasto. They are now borderline must see after two near misses.
