Why is it one of those two options, surely it’s also logical to test and vaccine anyone meant to be performing

True yes. But I think festival republic would rather lower the audiences expectations instead of two weeks before the festival they have to announce that acts cannot play at the fests.

  2. In regards to Boris Johnson's recent announcement I think they will either do away with the two main stages or go all in and have two new headliners to replace Posty and QOSTA. And an all British line up, so I have a feeling we are going to see for sure Slowthai, IDLES, Black Country New Roads, Black Midi, Pale Waves, DMA's (uk based) that's on the bill but I feel confident in saying that they are going to book if they were to replace Posty and QOSTA would be from Mumford & Sons, Royal Blood, The 1975, The Libertines, The Streets and Dua Lipa.

Be interesting if Leeds ends up being a British only artists if travel is banned but it can go ahead:

back to one main stage perhaps and then:

    Disclosure/Catfish, Two Door, The Wombats

Liam G, Gerry C, Yungblud, Charli XCX, Neck Deep

Stormzy, Lewis C, AJ Tracey, Mabel

    It would be doable

And I think that would still be a solid line up ngl

  4. I know this does not have mass relevance but The 1975 are supposedly releasing different side projects in 2021 with Drive Like I Do and the Matty solo album so they might want to release those records and move on from the NOACF era due to the albums mixed reaction.

  5. Here's an idea with regards to the two headliner nonsense there is a British headliner each day do you think festival republic did this with the intent that if not Posty and Queens can't play they can have a sole headliner each day at least or maybe move Catfish to Co with Disclosure?

After / if we get an announcement in jan that they are still going ahead ?

I know this is naive but I still feel optimistic considering the rate in which we are vaccinising in this country

Lollapalooza Stockholm announced Their lineup today. Is there likely any crossover?

Decent line up would love it if Kacey Musgraves got announced be great to see some country on the mad cool line up because the genres are so diverse but Posty I would be down for.

Just got round to listening to the new Sundara Karma EP. Really hope they don’t continue to go in this direction. It’s a far cry from the unreal debut album and good follow up

I think more the power to them because they will keep alot of their original dark fruits audience, trying something new and opening up to the hyperpop scene which is becoming more popular by the day and R&L have two hyperpop acts on the bill so far being Charli XCX and 100 gecs who are guaranteed to pull huge crowds in my opinion and can definetley see them play next year now.

Think we will get something between Jan and March, first will be "It's on and this is how it will work" then an updated lineup very similar to last years poster but with a few tweaks.

I think you might be right which specific acts do you think we are going to see on the lineup.
