They already played another show this week here in Portugal so I don’t believe that they will comeback to Portugal that soon.
I think that Foals are defo co headliners, they are not that big in Portugal to headline a festival, Tame Impala may be the headliners on that day.

They will most probably be co-headlining with a DJ act kinda thing, like Justice after The XX in 2018 and Disclosure after Migos last year

  2. I don't think that The Strokes will ever play at NOS Alive, it seems that Super Bock Super Rock have an exclusivity with The Strokes and their agent in general, their shows in Portugal were always at sbsr, The Voidz played sbsr back in 2018, and last year it was Phoenix who have the same agent as The Strokes...

  3. I was in Lisbon yesterday and like every year NOSAlive buys advertisement spaces on the trains linking Lisbon and Cascais, the day by day line up is usually on them. That being said the names at the top of each day were: The Cure, Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver. They would not change the whole ads on the trains, so we can assume that the lineup is pretty much finished apart from smaller names.

Given that placebo is now a strong rumour for glastonbury, i wonder if theyre the band RW have gone for

It all depends on what day Placebo plays Glastonbury and vice versa... Hopefully they are at Werchter on the Thursday

I just noticed Gossip are playing in the Netherlands and in Luxembourg in July but have no belgian date yet.

I know our line up should be completed but they would fit perfectly between Bastille and Vance Joy on the Thursday :P

Just got announced as a main stage act for NOS Alive

They have made an official comment about it in the local news where they use two different (bad) explanations. One is the start of the Belgium holidays which would mean increased traffic and that some of their customers still had school, and the second part is about Pink wanting here DJ to perform at the main stage between acts (which is the reason there is no The Slope).

Thinking about it, does the vacation in Belgium start with a Friday off? Otherwise, why would making changes to the Thursday make any sense anyway? Those that have school duties will still have them on Friday, and those travelling on vacation will probably not leave until after work Friday.

Both excuses are indeed very bad and incredibly not believable? I am still personally hoping for a last minute surprise...

And the Friday is the sold out day... It does not make sense.

After all I personally hope that the vibe is not ruined on the Thursday and that festival goers are still up for a good party even if the acts are not up to the usual standards, the crowd will be!
