Are Channo and Solange also?
Nah Solange is doing Parklife, and no idea about Chance. Think Brockhampton were the only specified exclusive.

I know this is probably the wrong place to post this, but Brockhampton are UK exclusive at Lovebox - gutted

Any Thoughts if there will be Subs I see they've gone back to the 2017 lineup without the Logos possibilities of some pretty big subs to me Dizzee seems pretty likely to sub other then that I can't see anyone else subbing?
Hmm dunno, giggs is massive right now. And could definitely see them squeezing Jorja Smith in as a sub. I’m hoping we’ve got other big acts in addition to the last headliner to be announced.

i’d argue that two acts who have headlined reading and glasto respectively, are a bit better than sub headliner standard
I agree with this, significantly bigger acts than in previous years! Really hoping for the prodigy for the final headliner. Lots of grime already on the bill so unlikely to be skeppy. Definitely a big space for an “oldies” act either headlining or taking a big slot.

Yes my dude. It’s in The S*n’s Bizarre column.
Makes you wonder who the third headliner could end up being, because Flo and Foals as two of the three is pretty big - an impressive third could see Boardmasters really making a name for itself in the big leagues.
Smashed it, cheers mate!

Call it a hunch but I’m gonna go for FOALS will headline the Sunday night of Cornwall’s Boardmasters Festival, running from August 7 to 11. Yannis Philippakis and Co join the already announced Florence + The Machine. Mabel, Sam Fender, Martin Solveig, Jax Jones, Razorlight and Plan B. Some of the best known names in surfing will also be there for the World Surf League Qualifying Series.
Dental is this legit? or does it just look it?

I really hope they get foals. I agree, I thought Kano (although I really like him) was a weak sub last year. I was hoping for Biffy, although potentially too big, considering they’ve got Florence already this year.

Christine and the Queens aren’t big enough to sub. If they ain’t subbing parklife, they’re not subbing the pyramid.

Hope not, bastille have headlined before haven’t they?
Yeah they have. But catfish played twice in two years...

Don’t know if this has been mentioned, but it won’t be royal blood as they are uk exclusive to reading and Leeds

I'm assuming it's a dark side of the moon reference.
That's that then
That would be nice ?

Change of Instagram and FB profile picture of any relevance do we think? Some ransom person commented on the Instagram post that there would be an announcement on Tuesday.

Another announcement coming soon...

Also 1975 are doing reading so that’s a no

@eFestivals Have you got any ideas on any of the acts yet to be announced?

Fair enough, maybe in that case I should lump on them to headline. I spoke with Melvin Benn at Reading 2013 and spoke about Foals, he said he loves them and that maybe they could headline 2016 and for whatever reason I didn't put money on it
After this Macca stuff, I reckon you're better off going to William Hill and betting on the next ruler of Westeros

Didn't everyone agree they're too small to headline? Although IF it's a last minute cover booking I could see it given they're around with the new album coming
And there's me predicting them to headline Boardmasters ?

Ha Jennifer was right on twitter - knew it. Gutted to miss Macca though.
It’s 100% the Strokes isn’t it. Maybe they are going to surprise us with a new album.
Although I’m 100% still keeping the Gaga dream alive ??
Too many 100 percent's there for my liking

Thank God! Not sure Matty Healy is quite the replacement for Macca

I don't think that concerns them, they've booked Jamiroquai and Flaming Lips in recent years.
I happened the see the first Lips show after Boardmasters, and Wayne said something about a very wrong crowd.
Yeah that’s true! The Jamiroquai crowd was quite big from memory, although the demographic plus the weather made the Lips’ crowd tiny!
-
With all these stereophonics announcements at the moment, I can definitely see them headlining. Just unsure as to whether they would suit the crowd?
