A few of my top Clubbing moments ever....

2003 - Being 19 years old, still pretty new to serious clubbing and seeing Eddie Halliwell at the Republic in Sheffield. It blew me away. I'd never really experienced anything like it.

2005 - Space Ibiza - Erick Morillo. It was live on Radio one.

My first trip to Gashouder in Amsterdam

Space Ibiza 2006 - Carl Cox playing this.....

This track!!! Heard it first time when Tiefschwarz played it at Love Parade in Berlin in 2006. Still one of my favourites!!!

  2. Homobloc was unreal! Fair to say the ladies on main stage won the night for me (bar Black Madonna which I had no intention seeing). Haven’t seen anyone in Concourse as it was too busy anytime I passed by. Little bit disappointed by Haai, but after her Glastonbury set Nothings gonna cut it.

Off to WHP tonight for the first time, what’s security been like at the new place?

Same old. Seen couple of lads dragged from the crowd and quite violently pulled into search box. Fairly relaxed on entering the venue mind. Coupla of dogs too, if the info is any use to you.

oh yes, they've been out for a few days. check their social media.

Found it, thank you. That Midland/Haai clash is hurting my soul, but I’ll go for the latter, 5th time this year, cause she can’t do no wrong in my eyes at the minute!

On a different note - I’ve seen Nite Fleit at WHP last weekend, by accident really, and god, it was utter perfection!

i'll be in early for optimo as well, looking like a different path for me though apart from artwork! larry after artwork and then definitely erol / ivan. fancy seeing horse meat and siano as well.

I haven’t seen any set times yet, are they released??

  6. No success here. Wasn’t expecting it would hit me like a ton of bricks after only being once. In two minds about resale, don’t think I could go through the same emotions again ?

Going to Bramley Moore Docks for Circus in two weeks. Not exactly my jam, it’s only to shake the cobwebs off, but I’m sure after certain supplies I’ll have a great time regardless. Anyone know what the venue is like?

And Homobloc in November, I’ve got a feeling this will bang anourmously!

Just got off the phone with Barclays and they said that for a deposit of 50 pounds (even if it's plus a coach ticket), it wouldn't normally be picked up by Verified by Visa as suspicious. She couldn't confirm it definitely, but if it was picked up by VbV then I would be able to confirm it's authentic with my PIN card-reader device, by inserting my card and following the instructions etc.

She couldn't say 100%, but she was fairly certain it wouldn't be a problem either way.

That’s even more reassuring, cause I’m with Barclays too.

Try booking a cheap ticket through Seetickets and go through the forgotten password process etc....this one is just £3.30.

    https://www.seetickets.com/event/the-family-dog-happninboy/hot-box/1437047?aff=efestivals

Done, the only thing that popped up was something along the lines ‘your bank informed us you are enrolled’, don’t know what it was exactly, cause the page refreshed and the payment went through. I take it I should be alright the sale comes. Thanks @parsonjack

  9. Is there any way to find out my VBV details? I remember setting it up years ago, but no idea about emails and passwords. Although ticketmaster and Skiddle are always coming up with verified by visa screen when I book, but it goes through without having to put password in.

Looking like i'll be coming in to the office on Sunday to try for tickets.

Anyone else going in to work specifically for tickets?

I’ll be trying at work on Thursday. And only just realised i should be at work on Sunday morning too, but not gonna chance it, as internet there is a joke at the best of times, so will be ‘working’ from home hah!

  11. As above. One of my mates got her registration refused multiple times and the reason being that she looks too young. Is that even a thing? She’s 26 years old and definitely doesn’t look like she would qualify for being a child ? She mailed Glastonbury HQ, they gave her some different link for registration, but it came up with the same reasoning. Any ideas would be appreciated.

  12. After months of absence I’m rallying my troops in preparation for T-day. Totally different feels than my first, as I know what I would be missing now ? Not without issues as well. My 26 yo mate gets her registration cancelled cause apparently her photo looks like she’s a child ? now that’s something to brag about! And I’ll be moving house in about 6 weeks and unsure if I will be able to change my address at later date, so can’t say my it’s all going smoothly. Fingers crossed for everyone on here!

The kick out time is 5pm ( I think ) but I don’t think that has any influence ... Glastonbury last year had some fairly strong environmental messages with David Attenborough , extinction rebellion and a march and a plastic bottle ban that got everyone involved ... the trick being to try to cover everyone and he was placed just before Kylie in a significant time to get maximum coverage ... next year I reckon something will be done on the paper cups from bars front as looking at photos that seems the major issue still to sort .... oh and worthy warriors seemed to have quite a good uptake in numbers to encourage the tidy campsites

Was it last year already? ?
