Lowlands Spotify play list up? Lizzo, Lana, MCR, MGMT, BMTH. Not sure if it's legit though? If so gives a good indication.
That one is a fake one, the official is still empty, except for the song "Waar de Fuck ben ik" ("Where the fuck am I" in English).

I don't really understand the ticketing system. Can you buy a combo-ticket for Massive Attack + Tame Impala, or do you have to buy separate tickets for both events?

What's the weed policy like here does anyone know? Generally accepted or?
Hoping for a little more diversity (hip hop/djs) but happy enough with the lineup so far. Sunday in particular is a really strong day for me.
It's the Netherlands, weed is legal.

God, I almost forgot. Didn’t they also sell their IPA at the regular bars?
Unfortunately not, so when they had small gigs in the steamboat, you had to settle for Brand beer (not bad, but not as nice as Lagunitas).

Hi Alan,
I went by car, so couldn't tell you about the public transport. I know many people come by train and shuttle bus and I hear it's pretty well organised, so wouldn't expect any problems there.
After that, it's very much focused on people camping. Haven't heard anybody staying in hotels, if there even are any nearby. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so I have no idea if/how taxi/uber service runs there. Especially with everyone having weekend tickets.
On the other hand, camping and sanitary facilities are well organised and pretty clean. You can't go wrong with any Dutch festival for that matter, is my experience.
As for craft beer, there is a Brand (Dutch beer brand owned by Heineken) specialty beer bar on the festival site where you can buy something else than your typical festival lagers. This year there was also a cider stand.
And last year we had a Lagunitas steamboat bar, which was awesome.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, George Ezra, Fatboy Slim and Biffy Clyro are to headline the Isle Of Wight Festival
That's quite a big step down from last year's headliners, at least for someone from outside the UK.

Foals headined a day in the 2014 edition, and only grew ever since (expected to release a new album in 2019).
DTRH itself has also grown since 2015.

I thought they were headliner size on the continent?
In the Netherlands and Belgium. Nowhere else I believe.

that's a lie.
I think they promote it as the oldest festival still existing which has been held every year.

Assuming The Cure and Bon Iver are playing the same day, there's only one band playing last out of those two.
The Cure plays 11th, Bon Iver 13th.
However, I still think Bob Iver is not a headliner.

Anyone know how much the tickets are ? Having failed to get Glastonbury tickets for the first time in 14 years, I need to formulate a plan to be busy that weekend and this seems like a good option Can't find ticket prices on the website.
243 euro without camping (ca. 30 euro)

You seem to view feelings that are at a level 5 of anguish at a 10. IDK what music you've been listening to from the band but not only have they been heavy with every album besides Prequlle, but they have widened their popularity within the rock community by making albums that have combined more and more subgenres to make their sound more experimented. I say that with Prequlle has made them become severally less of a rock and especially METAL act, leaving them to the likes of soft rock and pop rock as far as their technical genre.
You are a very weird person to judge someone of their posts without having a clue of what their conveying.
People who listen to Metal listen to it because of the feeling of predisposed hidden anger and revolt that they have in them, Ghost as of Post Prequlle do not provide that feeling AT ALL within their music, and if you want to jump to prejudgment lad then you are a prick and an idiot for stating things about a band that aren't true at all stating in which they are.
Ghost have NEVER been influenced by the likes of "Blue Oyster Cult" - One Hit Wonders from Long Island LOL
Some realistic ones could be cited as Iron Maiden, UFO, Yes, Black Sabbath, Dream Theater, etc.
For a "teacher" I sure hope your not in the arts program, you'll probably stick brushes on they minor keys eh?

People should listen to whatever music they want for whatever reason they have. It's music, people should enjoy themselves.

Is it hard to get to the front area near the mainstage? Wanna go to Pinkpop next year and it will be my first festival with area division.
During the day it is easy. For the 2 last acts you should be in the line somewhere during the act before it.

An important guy of Mojo (the organizer) has said in an interview with a Dutch newspaper (almost) all big names are already announced, so I would not be sure. He also said that some more names should be announced soon.
They expect to sell out anyway.
