No it was removed by me because of the username I’ve no access to IPs so couldn’t check … apologies to poster … the ref to song title went over my head unfortunately. And unfortunately I’ll make the odd mistake that I’m happy to put my hands up to if I do

Would be good to know if it’s true though. Was anyone else there that can confirm? Could easily be missed I guess, but maybe someone else heard.

  2. Afternoon all. Just popping by to bring you the news that forum favourite Pierce O’Brien aka Pierce, O’Brien aka MCR Boy now has a record deal! Not only that, he’s playing at Band on the Wall in Manchester on the 11th Feb. You can find tickets here for just £8.50:

    https://link.dice.fm/BdLNAxfVQwb

Not only that, he has announced that he’ll be entering the emerging talent contest so with any luck, he’ll be appearing at our beloved farm in June. Efests meet if so, for sure. Good luck @Pierce O Brienlad.

Just release the blimming poster, not this 1 act a day painful cryptic dripfeed, you p***ks.

Come on mate. If primavera were doing this you’d be praising how unique and exciting it is. It’s a smart play and bit of fun. The only problem is it’s usually worked out and is obvious very quickly but that hasn’t happened on these 2.

i care cos this rubbish is stinking up my forums, messig with my living.shall i start fucking up your job for you, moron.

You're seriously responding to someone talking about a massive band headlining a festival, when sources have suggested it's happening, with this vile nonsense? It's not stinking up the forum, it's what the forum has always been for. Your strange dislike of one particular band is making you extremely irrational and even nasty on this.

If there's anyone out there who Neil trusts, please step in.

Had a week of trying to get into it and I’m ready to consign it to the pile of albums I rarely go back to. For such a short album it really struggles to hold my attention. A lot of it is style over substance and quite boring in places.

I do like Body Paint, but I’ve switched off well before the end of the album.

Hello You and Perfect Sense (3rd last and last) are fantastic songs.

have you asked permission from the site owner before posting this and promoting a business on here ? this hasnt replaced the EE app has it as thats still available  ...

Seriously? The guy has put all that work into this idea which ultimately could help Glasto attendees and this is what you have to say? Yes, maybe he should’ve said ‘alternative’ but is this extreme pedantry (and quite frankly, arse-licking) really necessary towards somebody trying to do a good thing?

Well it started in southern california by an indie promoter and was small, so why wouldnt it be way different. Live Nation bought the brand and the people who book it and made it much bigger.  I think Live Nation wants to get thier money now and will worry about recession issues later. But you want to say they have doubts about the event? They sold out 3 dates of next weeks version in under an hour. This will likely have the same result. Why did they pretty much spend most of this year getting the following year ready to go and booked? Dont you wish the Eavii had that much work ethic in them to be able to have a lineup ready a year in advance and even bold enough to present it this soon? Theyre undercutting all of their competitor by doing this, its fucking business.  There was already an event earlier this year with the same set up and all, and Live Nation putting it together. Some acts were late and got rescheduled and there was a false alarm on an incident. And other than the hot weather people seemed to have a good time. So thanks for hoping that we're all gonna die cause you think the number 1 concert promoter in the world is being weird by being greedy and setting up new precedents. Cant wait til the schedule comes out next week and youre going to say its the worst thing ever. when Glastonbury does the same exact thing and on an even larger scale, but thats ok, cause its all about walking around and having a pint apparently.

Pints are good, man. You should try chilling out and enjoying one sometime, might do you some good.

  8. Nobody is saying she shouldn't be able to say it. It's just that what she said is ridiculous for the reasons outlined. Floorfiller might have a good point too.

Its not just about what happens to the queens corgis ya know. Some people want to remind others of the rest.

As it happens, I did see this morning that Prince Andrew will be looking after them. Make of that what you will.

Did you post this whilst drunk? That's the only excuse I can imagine for what is an absolutely idiotic statement.

I believe he said he doesn’t drink. His idiotic statements instead come from simply being an idiot.

Could be a supply chain thing. Its a miracle the vinyl will be availble for release date. Records easily been done for at least 3 months cause even with getting priority to press records cause the majors pay a ton to cut the line you still gotta be 6 months ahead of schedule to make sure its ready.

Clearly you havent seen what will happen to tickets in north america whenever they go onsale and theyll easily eclipse that number for nosebleeds. Vip will easily be 5 - 10 times that number.

How do you manage to make everything about America? It's quite remarkable and comical.

Imagine they'll be concentrating all their efforts and resoucres into Andalucia Big now. Telling how they said they couldn't get an appropriate replacement but were happy for Andalucia Big to have someone completely different to Rage replacing them.

But Sunset was a one-day thing, with interest naturally driven by interest in seeing Rage specifically.

It's not like it affects the music in any way with Fender, too. What are people having to put up with? A sax player in black and white stripes? Maybe some flags?

  14. Great festival, so well organsied/heavily staffed. Never queued more than a minute for the bar (and generally no wait at all) and never queued for the toilets. Food queues were bad when I first tried so just went a bit later when the queues had gone. Shuttle was great, bit of a walk round the site to it but easily worth it, especially staying close to Plaza Castilla.

So many great acts (luckily no cancellations bothered me, I expected worse) and whilst it was busier than 2019, leaving during an act's last song was enough to get a good enough spot at the next one, if that's how you wanted to play it. The run of Pixies > KoL > Editors > Royal Blood on Saturday was pretty special, and that's without even seeing Florence (except the last 2 songs) who I'm sure was awesome.

Has anyone had any luck finding out basic information like what time wristband collection opens? Or even the time gates open?

Don't know about wristbands but the schedule on the app suggests gates open at 5pm, which is what I'd assume anyway tbf.

That's the three I'm going for too. Obviously tons of second choices are out, but that's the way with any festival.

I also need to become a twenty-one pilots fan in a week just to improve my Wednesday experience.

Not a fan of Chvrches? That's certainly where I'll be!
