  1. Ok guys and gals the list is starting to look healthy!

I do have one question though. Who here has been in the Pussy Parlure? What is it like in there?

The reason I am asking is due to it being in the Dance Village as dtox has advised, I am thinking it maybe full of young whippersnappers! I am not ancient (30's) but I don't want to stand out like the old woman in there!

  2. From what I gather last year it was a bit of a nightmare getting in so I have seen they are on at 11.30pm (going by a print out of the line-up from an earlier thread) I reckon the Cider Bus for a meeting point and then go from there. Not sure how long it takes but if we meet at say 10.00pm it gives us plenty of time to get to the dance village and inside in good time. What does everybody think?

I will start a list of possible attendees if people want? I'll have to go back through the threads so bare with me!

    So far:

    Chocscoffer

    Dtox

    Itsybitsy

    Boover

    Paul

    Tallulah

    t77

    Barney73

As for the OP I haven't seen her since (shame aswell because she seemed nice).

  3. Only over whose round it is next :)

Right now that some sense of glastonbury love has been restored how about us organising a gay meet up ^_^ (starts looking round for that can of worms re-opened ;) )

Seriously though, who is up for a bit of a boogie at the Horsemeat Disco on the Friday night! (gay or straight). Come on don't be shy!

  4. Again, nobody has mentioned segrgation :P . I didn't want to get deep about this but i'm getting pissed off with saying the same thing over and over again.

This may come as a surprise to some people on here but a lot of gay/bisexual people feel ostracised by society, some people see gay and bisexuality as 'normal' and wouldn't bat an eyelid at two people of the same sexuality holding hands and possibly showing affection the street but for the rest of society it is not seen as normal. Heterosexuals don't have to constantly explain their sexuality and hide it away and often come across homophobia in every aspect of lilfe. So, in answer to your question about why a gay person would ask if any other gay people are going to Glastonbury is because it is felt like a safe place for a person to be who they are without having to hide who they are. If you are straight then society will see you as normal yet a lot of society sees gay and bisexual people as 'different' and are labelled as so. What would people say if two men were kissing on a primetime tv prgramme at tea-time? Now what would people say if a man and a woman kissed on the same show?

Not everybody is as accepting of sexuality. The people on here attacking the original poster may want to ask themselves why they have a problem with individuals asking about meeting other gay people. If somebody wanted to start a thread on meeting black, white, ginger (yes that was one piss take comparison), asian, indian individuals etc then I would have no problem with that. I wouldn't specifically go onto that thread and slag them off for starting it which is what has happened here.

  5. My mates went last year and had a fab time, however they were not impressed by the loos and the mud, this has probebly put them off this year.

    No issues other that.
