  1. We nearly had to get them in 2007 as missed out on tickets, fortunately managed to sort something as although sunday would have been better than nothing, I'd have been gutted to miss the rest of the festival

  2. I think you can get them from April ish... don't live up there anymore but always try and get my mum to come up for the day. Don't think you have to register for the local ones - which is probably why there are quite a few on ebay... :)

  3. Sunday tickets are £60 (Only available to locals but loads popping up on ebay) I remember when it used to be free on sundays, half of somerset used to turn up to 'see what all the fuss was about'

  4. I'm not one of those with either a campervan or a caravan. I'd love to have one but my wife, who doesn't do camping, reckons a campervan buys a lot of nights in nice hotels.

This year a friend has offered to lend me his campervan for the three festivals I do over the summer. But at present I'm not planning to take it to Glasto because we always meet up with a group of friends and camp in the same area.

However I'm wondering what the atmosphere is like in the Campervan/Caravan area. Any experiences or advice?

I took up my VW up in 2005 but wouldn't be tempted to take it again, I didn't find it that friendly - A lack of smiles! You don't tend to see that many people as people are in and out of the festival at different times or maybe everyone was avoiding me :O

It's also quite a walk.... and one heck of a hill!

  5. Tickets arrived - Hurrah! Panic over, off on hol next week and if they hadn't arrived by then would have to rely on the mother in law to pick them up from the sorting office... Now I can relax :)

  6. Still no tickets  Not in the country from next week, hope they arrive soon or have to trust the mother in law to pick them up from the sorting office and put them somewhere safe for my return... hmm, guess I'll find out if she likes me or not...

  8. I'm a little worried about getting my tickets as I'm going abroad next week - will leave some I.D so that when the tickets come my mother in law can get them from the sorting office... Not sure how much I trust her though  Called seetickets and they confirmed that if they are not picked up within 7 days they will be returned  Will call her everyday for an update!

  9. This might explain the fact that the See order tracker is so busy it won't let me on!

    'The service is currently busy

Unfortunately, we are experiencing a much higher level of demand than normal and are limiting the number of simultaneous users in order to provide the best possible level of service.

Please wait 30 seconds before refreshing this page.

    Thank you for your patience.'

We were backstage in 2007 - Best thing - Clean toilets, less queues at the bar, Great cut through.

Severe lack of atmosphere and the majority of people don't go outside and see the 'real' glastonbury.

Didn't bother last year, might pop back this year if the toilets get too messy!!!
