Literally only just letting the first people in to the venue. Capacity app has probably been set as full to deter anybody else turning up because the single weekend queue is hella long and half of those people don’t have a chance of getting in.

Yeah fair enough cheers for clarifying. Surprised we got into beck the other night so relatively easily. Queues seem bigger last 2 nights. Can't imagine what time you'll need to turn up for Interpol tomorrow! 12 pm?!

It's surely not already full, we've been here since 6 and it hasn't moved nearly enough to fill the venue. Besides, DICE has the doors as 8pm and the nearby DICE queue hasn't moved either. Hopefully the capacity app is just showing full to say there's more than the capacity already queueing outside

Ah ok I see. Ah well best of luck to everyone. I've seen slowdive before and hope to see king gizz at some point.

App says it's full or very close to full.

Aye, completely misjudged that. Legit no queue around 8pm 🤔. Currently scrambling across the city to try and get into KeiyaA. The tracker says it's not close to being full but I'm dubious.

They stopped letting people into SOK about an hour ago and no chance for RAZZ 2 at this point.

Always surprises me how many people aren't seeing Tame Impala. Then again it's my first time so maybe I'm just incredibly late to the party and the party ended years ago

Seen them last time they played PS. It was absolutely mobbed and set didn't do much for me so probably dodging this time. It was mostly newer stuff I didn't know as well. I only really like the first 2 albums.

  6. My third primavera. I agree with all the reasons to date. I love the fact that the primavera, ray ban, Adidas and pitchfork stages are all right next to each other so it allows you to see so much top class music in a day. I particularly remember a run of slowdive, grizzly bear and beach house a few years ago alternating between primavera and ray ban which are a stone's throw from each other. That was an awe-inspiring few hours.

finally someone else points out how annoying this is

I don't begrudge them the extra. The initial price I paid for example (early bird in June 2019 145 euro I think it was) is incredible value for a festival this good. You pay a lot more than that for the likes of green man in the UK and that's far inferior.

Just leaving my 8th Black Midi show and thought I'd report back as promised. They're clearly a pretty different band as to when I first saw them in Spring of 2018. Lots of new stuff and improv and notably no bmbmbm, Near DT MI and Years Ago.

The additional sax and keyboard players were cool additions but Matt was definitely missed. I'm sure he'll be back for Primavera but the shows are definitely different to how they were 6 months ago, let alone longer.

Easy to see why you've seen them so much, I would too given the chance. Incredible set and incredible musicians. Only about 5 tunes from schlagenheim but the new stuff sounded amazing. Looks like they're going a more jazz route with it. They're good enough musicians to anyway.

I'd like to think that's just because they play down that neck of the woods all the time. I'm seeing their Edinburgh show on Monday and hoping for years ago etc. They won't have played here before I don't think.
